Haha that's funny

Yeah I guess so. It makes it sound like they up and walked off somewhere

I applied for some jobs today with my job person. Hopefully leads to something good. Not sure how I feel about some of the places we applied though. Like one of them is a gas station and I am scared to work at a gas station after hearing my friend's horrible time at one for 6 years

Phil technically worked at a gas station for 3 years, I say "technically" because a Wawa is much more than a normal gas station, and this actually wasn't in New Jersey, it was in Pennsylvania, so people pumped their own gas and he didn't have to do it for them. (He actually made sandwiches far more often than he was involved with the gas)

Remember you don't have to stay at a place that is awful, especially not for 6 years! It's worth it to give a new job an honest try, but if things are clearly going poorly and you don't think they're going to get better then it's time to cut ties.

Yeah I guess that is good to know I can quit if it is bad. I'd rather not have to do that though. It'd be cool if I got accepted for SSI in the meantime, then I wouldn't have to worry about it...

In new jersey they have to pump your gas for you? That's interesting. Kind of a synchronicity because I just last night was listening to a story that mentioned that, they said a couple certain states pumps gas for you or something but I didn't remember what states they were

Oh yeah, in New Jersey it's illegal to pump your own gas! It's pretty archaic because it dates back to the time where gas pumps were kinda dangerous and accidents could happen a lot (I'm talking the 1940s or even earlier). But it's part of our state's identity, and it's actually pretty nice because you can just pull up to the gas pump, roll down your window, and someone will do it for you, all you have to do is hand them the money! 😊

The only other state that does this is Oregon but I think I heard somewhere that they recently changed that, leaving New Jersey all alone. Most people in NJ still know how to pump their own gas anyway because Pennsylvania and New York are both so close.

I see. That's interesting. That'd be nice. I've never pumped gas before so I'd be nervous to do it

I'm eating a grilled cheese with ranch now

What are you up to simmie? Phil doesn't work today?

I counted my calories today finally so far. 463 calories I think. That seems awfully low. I ate a bowl of cereal which was 180, ate a pepper and an onion which is 18 and 44, I ate a grilled cheese with 2 pieces of cheese on it which is 100 plus 120 for two pieces of bread. So keep it up and then see what it is by the end of the day and subtract 400... What if I randomly don't eat as much as normal today lol. Also I didn't measure my bowl of cereal so it might have gone over the calories per serving

Now for a bowl of salad. 15 per about 1.5 cups. Idk how much I put in here. I'ma guess 2 cups so 20 more calroies? 483?

Yeah Phil doesn't work today, but we are about to head out for some nature time! 😊 We actually haven't decided what park we're going to yet; around here we are spoiled for choices! 😁

We've never counted calories but maybe we should. I would love Phil at any size, of course, but ideally he should be about 175lbs, maybe 185 at the most, but right now he's pushing 210. We walk a ton, so I think the main factor is his diet: too many baked goods! 🎂🧁🍪

It is nice to be healthy. I wish I walked more. I might start walking to my dad's then back home the next day every day so I am always walking... But idk. I wish there were nicer places to walk that would invite me to walk

Have a good time out at the park

I don't think I can get in the swing of things this week with my drawing course. I will just try to draw on my own for a week then try to get back to it. I need to figure out what is wrong with my drawing ability right now because it feels like it broke

dang, that's a small grilled cheese to be that few calories, and I guess you used wheat bread or something?

but it's still good to be counting calories even if you end up off, the mental effect of counting is still valuable just because you never let yourself go WAY over

ranch is a few calories too, depends on how much you eat though

we eat a ton of ranch when we make pizzas, but it's still not much more than like 120 calories, definitely less in your case (but you're free to try and measure your ranch once if you want lol)

Oh yeah I forgot about the ranch having calories. It almost occurred to me but not fully. And I think it was wheat bread. Not really a bread that I like much though.

I forget how to draw Rena, poop

683 calories I think? This is where it gets really hard. I ate chips with salsa. No idea how much salsa I took in. There wasn't very much though. So I just put another 200 on it. About to eat a poptart which will make it 1053 I think.
