Welp, we don't count our calories to such a pedant degree, we just eat the minimum and exercise as much as possible in regards to our motivation and energy levels for the said day. Also, we are very upset this morning cause we were just minding our own business doing role play on discord and right in the middle of it the power grid for our entire zone expanding to about 10 kilometre radius went out so we lost connection halfway through the excitement. But oh well, there's always tonight and we have a week off of work this week so there's more time for us.

Sorry about his rant everyone.

Sorry about your roleplay

1203 calories is the ending calories for the day if I didn't miscount. I ate a bag of chips. So tomorrow I should eat only 800 calories if I want to lose weight?

Creation for creation's sake.

You have no need to apologise, it's not like you had anything to do with it, though weirdly apparently several witnesses reported a extremely bright flash just before it happened, and this is with like a 20 kilometre diameter area...

it's dangerous to your health to eat <1400 calories or so a day, and if you eat less than like 1700 or so calories a day you're likely going to lose muscle as well as fat (because that's too drastic)

numbers differ a little by height (and by person in general), but there are some basic numbers for "healthy weight" here: https://www.webmd.com/diet/guide/calories-chart

they say 2400 calories for sedentary people, though we've been a little overweight still at a perfectly consistent weight for a year of eating 2400 a day now, so we just decided to lower it to 2200 for us personally

but then, I think we're more sedentary than "sedentary" usually assumes

but yeah I would assume that you don't need to be below 1800 at minimum to get to a healthy weight, and that's assuming you're not going for daily walks or anything, if you get more active you can add 100-200 more calories

oh and btw, the 1's place of calories is pointless to keep track of, we actually work in multiples of 50, so ie 665 calories we just remember as "650 but-round-up-later", then if we ate 70 calories we'd round back up to 750

immensely easier to remember your calories each day if you keep it simple like this

---

the problem with "just trying not to eat a lot" instead of counting calories is there are foods that are 3x as filling for the same calories, like this microwave mashed potatoes bowl is 650 calories, but it's probably ten times as filling as 650 calories of Oreos
