when in doubt about being productive, just do some stuff without thinking about it to get back on track

starting/deciding to start is way harder than keeping going, so it's all about figuring out how to make starting easier

FWIW I had a ton more age-related angst at 27 than I currently do at 37. It's kind of like going through the stages of grief; eventually you just kind of break through to the other side of it. I don't really know how to explain it.

Summertime and the living's easy

Why are they called A3?

Back then, we used to get these big sheets of A3 paper and I used to draw like crazy on them. It was fun mainly because I never seemed to run out of space to draw, so I would just doodle endlessly onto the giant strip.

When I joined the forums last July, I didn't want to reveal the actual name I gave her (I wanted to keep some stuff personal), so I had to think of a name I could use as an online counterpart. I fumbled through a myriad of ideas on what I'd call her, but ultimately settled on A3 because that paper was pretty prominent in my memories of her.

And thus the name A3 was coined

Interesting. It almost sounds like the name of an android

I hope my age related angst goes away. I think it would through enough meditation.

And just starting things without thinking about it? I can try

I have terrible back pain right now. I'm still struggling to find balance between school sports and personal fitness and this is a really bad case of that because I have a sports event today coinciding with the pain.

I don't want to make the pain worse by going to the event, but at the same time I can't just skip out on it and let my folks down.

I'll probably just pull an "it is what it is" and go anyway. I gotta represent my team

Any idea what is causing the back pain?

I really pushed myself doing deadlifts on Tuesday and went to sports practice immediately after. Hopefully this summer I can go to the gym much earlier thanks to there being no school

I like how you're seeing through your funk and using meditation as an outlet to deal with it. I think there was a point in the book that addressed that, too. Something to do with past trauma being brought up from the subconscious or something

Yeah purifications. How far into the book have you read so far?

For some reason the bus didn't show up. It was supposed to come at 10:40 but it just didn't. Same thing happened to my friend. It seems busses here at unreliable

Makes me weary about relying on them for my job

How fast do you all walk when taking walks? I wish Miri was here to answer too

Up to Stage 4. Trying to save the rest for when I get to that point.

I gotta re-read some of the stuff, though. It's slipping my mind.

Is public transit better than owning a car? I've seen people argue online that some aspects are better than others, but I'm not really sure how to go about it.
