I think so. I put in a lot of time trying to do my idea of possession and it didn't work. I guess that's why. I'd just get jerky movements. My hands made a heart once doing that though, so that's interesting. Maybe it can work if you practice enough and correctly?

I think it's all about how you conceive of what possession actually is. I strongly think that everyone's subjective experience of possession--not to mention switching, imposition, etc--varies wildly between people. I think in general a lot of people expect tulpamancy to feel like this foreign thing happening inside their head, and they are surprised that it's a lot more familiar. After all, you're not really adding anything, just re-organizing. Haha I didn't mean to get all "deep" for a second there. 😄 I usually don't have time for such pontificating, that's Phil's thing.

I like my old belief of tulpas feeling like alien thoughts and being able to literally hear inside your head. Well I guess the second one can be done with imposition but I fear imposition isn't a thing one can do consistently on demand so it becomes more like just a neat thing you can do. Unless I'm wrong. I don't know how much Bre imposes Miela
