OH, I just googled "deliverance" and it was some crap sounding movie about being attacked by natives so I went the "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all" route, I didn't realize you meant a Dragonball thing named Deliverance lol

@Valaeus If you don't mind me asking, what country are you from? This kind of thing used to happen in America as recently as 15-20 years ago. (In fact, happened to Phil himself when he was 21 and long-haired) But there has been a huge culture change here. Whereas most jobs used to not allow people to work with long hair (for guys), excessive piercings, visible tattoos, etc, nowadays it's very common to see all of that and more and nobody blinks an eye.

The Discord username scarcity change is rolling out, it reserved the name Reisen for us since we're the oldest active user with that name (and/or maybe because we were #0001?)

But I'm still upset on principle, this is a crap change that's backwards progress, I didn't mind sharing a username with other people but now no one but me gets that choice

 

There are also names that literally just can't be incremented on that will need to be changed entirely

Yeah the Discord name thing seems like a step backwards. Hopefully they will still at least allow you to have a display name that is different than your username. I'm very, very doubtful I was the first Simmie on Discord. 😄 Well, I guess it's back to AIM name aesthetics. 😄 Zoomers are going to find out why Millennials liked putting numbers in their usernames for years. 😄😄😄

Unfortunately my discord name is ghost1213177 so it already has a bunch of numbers. maybe i should change it to something more original. ghost1213177 was my runescape username though so it is kind of nostalgic
