It feels like the parts of town I visit with street art have a lot more of a culture roof on top of them, especially some of the smaller districts. It’s a great contrast from the isolation that’s everywhere else in a city. Even then, they’re just a part of the background that’s nice to look at. Whatever. Maybe it’s the things like stickers, hangout spots, and buskers that really drive that sense of unity because of their smaller-scale representations of community. Reisen September 27 Share September 27 Spain's cities having lots of graffiti is really odd, it's simultaneously a little offputting of course because of existing associations with graffitied towns/cities, but also in Spain specifically it's not really "trashy" and has a more "interesting, cultural" vibe. Not to say it's all high art, but yeah, definitely interesting and a different-culture vibe Hi guys, plain text is just me now! We've each got our own accounts: me, Tewi, Flandre, and Lucilyn. Breloomancer September 27 Share September 27 (edited) this one has been up for years. normally, things get painted over fairly frequently in this area, but i guess this one is so good that nobody wants to try to replace it Edited September 27 by Breloomancer I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Miri September 27 Share September 27 That's a good graffiti. It becomes ugly when it's just meaningless scribbles that are literally everywhere, streetlights, doors, windows, cars, etc Hi. I'm Miri, Miichu's host. I want to help my tulpa achieve her goals but ultimately, I'm just tagging along.

ringgggg September 27 Share September 27 (edited) There's a walking trail that runs through Midtown called the Beltline. Super popular weekend spot, and things are always getting painted over, especially around Fourth Ward skatepark. It took a few years before the culture around the trail to really set in, and nowadays buildings are springing up around it left and right I don't have any photos on hand right now, but this saves a Google Culture and the caricaturizing of practical objects, people, or idea filtered through a societal dogma Abstract thoughts into tangible, shareable, definable works. We have very little graffiti here, this is a "rich" city and can afford good roads and no scribbles. They happen bc gang punks but they don't last a day. No trash, no dog poop, it's not bad, but bums, pot smell common car theft and break-ins, not great either. We get organized flash mobs too so stores have everything locked up, I'm talking even the food is locked up in some. You practically need a store clerk personal shopper companion and Bear hates that so Amazon Fresh it is. Edited September 27 by Ashley
Miri September 27 Share September 27 Oh yeah, break-ins, they're common. Aside that, it's pretty safe. Sure crime happens but it's not south america levels of crime. Aesthetically though, some areas look good and some others are ugly as heck. I mean, look at this: Spoiler Hi. I'm Miri, Miichu's host. TB September 27 Share September 27 (edited) I'm not aware of the level of crime in my town. I haven't heard police sirens in a while though. People talk like it is bad though but I've never had anything happen... My friend's step dad acts like my neighborhood is full of murders or something but I just see children playing outside The bridge by my old house had graffiti on it I think Edited September 27 by TB Creation for creation's sake.
