The white kids were rich, he grew up in a posh beach community, except he was white and poor because his dad died when he was young. So they stayed in the large house but could barely afford maintenance or tax sort of thing. The Mexicans were in poverty, there were no other races, only those two in that community. So  because Bear was obviously poor, wearing worn hand-me-downs, the Mexicans were his friends and so were the whites but the whites... For example in one of the houses of a good fiend, with beachfront access and a private cove, and a house maid and a handyman, literally rich, there was a picture of Richard Nixon next to their parents. They owned race horses, multiple properties, exotic cars the whole deal. Bear's friends wrecked an exotic car in high school. This high school was insane too, like Miri's dream school with nature mixed in, no dead blacktop lots, it had a quad with flowers and stuff, super clean, very big.

 

On the other hand, his friend Ismael lived in a house where the streetlights were broken and the cars were all beat up 70's and 80's sedans. The older kids were all gang members obviously but they accepted Bear because Bear was, 1. a friendly guy with a friendly face 2. big, muy gordo like the adults, 3. poor

 

So Bear had opportunities to work for rich people and so did his sister and his sister was slated to be a model but they expected to be able to do whatever they wanted with her and she refused so she was blackballed from that scene. Later... all kinds of wrong we're not going into. Drugs were a huge deal and everywhere. Even on campus at the HS there were guys behind every building dealing. Rich kids have money, drugs cost money, nuff said.

 

Later Bear's Mexican friends joined gangs and that sort of thing and Bear couldn't follow them, his rich fiends therefore dragged him along and he got into some crazy parties that he didn't know what was going on and never could have suspected but now is sure bad things were happening at these parties, very awful things. Not saying more about it on this forum.

 

Bear managed to escape that because he was not really the type to get mixed in with all that. His home life was awful too, so he ended up living 3-5 days a week at the beach house with his friends and loved it, but they had cash everywhere and Bear sold gum for 25 cents a stick at school to get enough money to do anything like even see a movie.

 

All his friends save one who became a cop, were losers, all those rich kids ended up druggies working at the movie theatre or no job at all and just trust fund babies.

Um, Bear talks to me about stiff like a dozen times a day easy. Also Ren, and sometimes Joy:

 

60% me

25% Ren (should be more if she's going to be legendary)

10% Misha

4% Joy

1% the rest

 

However, with our Lock Merge system even if it's me, anyone can co-experience that and they do, especially Gwen and SheShe.
