Luminesce July 17 Share July 17 (edited) Unfortunately health and food science gets outdated decades faster than public knowledge can keep up with, even doctors generally learned lots of wrong information on many topics Spoiler What you heard about exercise not really affecting weight is correct, though It affects your health Edited July 17 by Luminesce Hi! TB July 17 Share July 17 I guess he agrees with the people giving talks about exercise not doing anything for weight. It does make me wonder why calorie calculator sites will say you need more or less calories based on your activity level though. Like one said I only need like 1400 calories, but if I were to do moderate exercise I'd need like 2200, or something the coworker's doctor said that after 30 minutes of intense exercise, your body stops using glucose for energy and switches to using your fat stores for energy. I wonder where he got that from. It doesn't sound unreasonable but yeah would contradict the that video and the other videos I saw, and I guess if 30 mins of intense activity started burning fat, I guess people long ago would starve to death if they weren't fat and had to hunt all the time If her doctor gave her false information, that is kind of sad. She's very overweight and seems to be trying hard to lose it, especially since it exacerbates a lot of her health problems. She seemed excited talking about her doctor's plan wil seems to agree with kurz. in wil's video about exercise, he said the body works on a "if, then" basis, and one of those things is when cortisol happens, your body suspects you are in danger, so it won't remove the cortisol until you do physical activity, like presumably running away, then it will lower the cortisol so you can rest. If you don't exercise, you chronically have high cortisol because you didn't do the thing your body wants you to do so it can lower it. I guess this is also why people exercise to get rid of stress or anger Creation for creation's sake. More of my drawings Resident Dojikko

I heard that somewhere else that is not true. from my experience in germany, cake still tastes like cake and bread still tastes like bread I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Subway bread has 10g of sugar for every 100g of flour, so they can't call it bread, but they don't call it cake either. Coke has 10g of sugar for every 100g of water, for comparison. According to reddit anyway, lol, people talking about their european countries' laws this is what i read from, only the top few reply threads though I can't really inform my coworker about exercise because why would she believe me over a doctor, especially when the only time I"ve talked to her I proved I'm an idiot lol, by asking her where the vacuum cleaner is when it was like 3 ft away from me. also i am literally just trusting youtube videos, which seems inadequate to do Edited July 17 by TB Creation for creation's sake. It doesn't sound unreasonable but yeah would contradict the that video and the other videos I saw Again, health science (especially diet) is still changing frequently, so what would've been considered being correct and up to date 10 years ago may be out of date now. Kurzgesagt videos are always up to date for when they were posted, because they do their research with recent studies immediately before/as they're making each video - and they get a lot of sources as well (even consulting the scientists themselves when necessary) Not to say that a given kurzgesagt video covers its topic in totality, just that it's up to date and probably accurate overall Rarely I see them post corrections pinned in the comments section Hi! TB July 17 Share July 17 science 2025: exercise causes obesity also limbs and head are fun. the body seemingly has no nerves cuz no sensations, or if there are sensations it is emotional turmoil lol Think I learned some things about rena that meditation though also we were extremely sleepy, and then we switch with the buddha, and instantaneously all tiredness goes away and the mind energizes itself and I feel tingliness around my neck and shoulders. hope that wasn't symptoms of a heart attack lol but it felt nice and we had energy for the rest of the meditation and by the end everything felt very nice also rena seems to know how to smile correctly while meditating while i don't didn't ringgggg suggest a book that is like a lucid dreaming bible or something, some really good advice for dreaming in general, or something? I wonder if I could get it for free with all my digital purchase credits from all the times I choose climate safer shipping. or some other nice book Creation for creation's sake.
