Basically what these shroom comments are like, except the first comment is how shrooms changed their life without any hint of scam and then the replies are people also saying the same for them, and then ones asking about it, and then getting replied with some sort of Dr Shroomensteinerson or some website or something, for idk if just more info about shrooms or a scam source of shrooms or what

 

There apparently is a company that sells and distributes microdoses of psilocybin throughout the US and canada, and I think real people claim to get away with it somehow. For some reason they aren't being enforced, maybe cuz microdoses ig idk. A drug youtuber had them as a sponsor as a suggestion for mental health benefits, and researching it it seems legit I guess? though the mg of shrooms per dollar is outrageous as far as I can tell so you are kinda getting scammed through it being overpriced compared to just buying shrooms or growing them yourselves, but I guess you are paying for convenience

 

I still don't know how to access shrooms normally. For some reason my friend refuses to share with me from whom they got them from and won't say if they will ever have anymore, so whatever I have rn is the last for a long time probably, if not ever

 

I hope it is therapeutic

 

5 meo DMT would be interesting... but that seems even less likely to come across. Hate drug criminalization. 5 meo dmt is only substance I'm aware of that can make someone experience a glimpse of nonduality without manual enlightenment. You go back to dual state afterwards though, unlike full arhatship where you're stuck in it for life. If used responsibly, These things might help with that path, but I got to be careful. 5 meo is really powerful so it might be too much for me to experience. Mike tyson did it though and recommends it I think. Frank Yang also made use of it

 

Common trope is someone does lsd or shrooms or dmt, then realize there is a deeper truth to reality so devote their lives to seeking it and finding awakening and usually they end up in a monastery in burma or something for an extended time, or india, or where ever. (not burma now i guess as Yakumo mentioned)

 

oh boy now I am procrastinating. My mood and wellbeing today is much higher than yesterday, though slight unease atm. I don't feel thoroughly identified with it though

well there's kanji, so that's an immediate barrier for someone who's only spent a few real weeks of learning Japanese like me

(relatively speaking, if you start with kanji early then 2-3, but if you do some vocal vocab first like me then it's more like a month+)

 

I can tell the second said goodbye to someone-san, and thanks to a bit of free wanikani I am just barely able to look up kanji on jisho via particles, so I could piece it all together with a lot of back-and-forth looking up, but that's far from reading it, and let alone easily

 

But yeah once you've learned a few hundred kanji I'm sure the ability to piece-together common sentences goes up immensely, and if I recall correctly you know more than a few hundred

That's just called learning a language, and if you think that was somehow easy, your mind will be blown if you ever look into learning spanish or something

Shrooms doubled themselves, I suddenly started hearing sounds outside as if I was outside, like distance and barrier was meaningless

 

Sitting here wondering what exactly to think about or how to think about it

 

I went into trying to solve my problems mode but noticed the painful unwholesome quality of clinging to needing to solve an issue

 

I just feel nice and altered (minus outside sounds almost scaring me because I couldn't tell if they were real or what they were)

 

I wish I could go into nature but I don't want to go outside where people are like this

 

Normally I'd go away until things finished but I suppose not

 

I have a sensitivity to when I feel like I've been ignored that I experienced yesterday. I'm not sure if somehow that issue can be resolved. Hmm

 

But most of all how to mold self into the drawing person I want to become, and the other important facets of my life I'm not performing desirably in. Idk if these things can crack that code in any way. I'm not sure how people use them

took about 12-14 minutes. idk what to draw for clothes or how to finish, though I enjoyed drawing that, I hope maybe sends some good vibes to my brain about drawing, especially with just music in the background instead of youtube videos about grizzly murders or abuse situations.

 

forgive apparent bareness, it's not but of course i draw her body shape before hiding it, just how drawing 2d works. idk if you do that in 3d too, I feel probably not, but the 2d refs and plans would I guess

 

I guess it's really only been about an hour and a half since I ate them? I feel like I'm past the climax of the trip and am steadily wearing down and off

IMMENSELY moreso in 3D than 2D lol, it's extremely important to have a body form to shape clothes to

 

That said, you wouldn't believe how a basic shirt in Blender is made

We quite literally highlight the torso, copy, paste, and then scale the size up by like 1%

Add color and suddenly you have the basis of a shirt lol

Oh lol, interesting. I didn't think you would in 3d for some reason, at least wasn't sure. Somehow it is moreso instead of equally so. I guess there exist people that just start drawing final lines from the beginning and do no such base, but those people are strange and uncommon, and sometimes it is just a lot of training to draw a specific thing. kim jung gi is a rare person who can draw seemingly anything on demand without a base

 

typically you draw some sort of gesture or skeleton for a pose, add structure, then add clothes and accessories etc and then find the final lineart, but my dude can skip all that and just draw extremely detailed 3d murales on a wall with a pen

 

I wonder how you do folds in 3d. Folds in 2d are... well to draw 2d you have to think 3d and figure out how to make illusions of 3d, so even clothing folds are 3d logicalaly, but to draw a simple shirt you can get away with just drawing some sort of diagonal line or something for a fold, and a little bit of wrinkles at the armpits

 

I notice real life clothes have way more folds than artists usually draw. I guess some form of simplification, or the excessive folds clothes actually have are unattractive, idk

I didn't (just) mean "more often", I meant "we make even more of the actual body", as far as I know when drawing 2D you work with the general shapes of body parts, but in 3D you generally create the entire character's form (just with no genitalia of course)

 

There are also people who can go straight to creating what they have in mind in 3D of course, but in most cases I don't think that's the norm

Would be most common in stylized game models I guess, where the model you're gonna end up with might not even follow a human form that specifically anyways (ie a dress that flows out in a cone shape - wasn't gonna help much to model the stomach/back, butt and upper legs first just to delete them after lol)

 

But outside of that, it's more common to really just create the whole body for a model (less detail in some areas is fine if you know it's going to be deleted later, but proportions are still important) and then delete any invisible skin after adding the clothes (for example, with a midriff shirt, there'd only be a couple inches of skin before ending abruptly just past the bottom of the shirt, and then the entire rest of the torso would be deleted)

I guess seeing models like that is why I thought they just modelled what you are going to see and don't make the things that would be covered up

 

in 2d it varies from person to person, especially since not everyone is of the same skill level, and skill isn't linear anyway as drawing is a compound skill where you have like 30 different skills at varying proficiency levels, making everyone very unique

 

I personally as of now draw a circle with cross hairs to point the face, then attach jaw, and also slice off the sides of the ball cuz sides of head are kind of flat, not like a ball, then I draw a neck and the uh, idk my muscle names, but the muscles that lead to shoulders, and the collar bone, then I draw a ribcage below that with cross hairs, and arms, then I seethe and foam at the mouth and pass out as I have no idea what happens to get a belly and hips in place, and i calmly draw belly button even though usually will have a shirt over it so I have to erase it lol. and i forgot i'd have drawn the bosom by now probably, if character has one

 

so idk, head is kind of constructing a simplified skull that seamlessly becomes a head, then I just draw neck and shoulders raw assuming flesh and muscles, but then a ribcage for upper body that I add flesh to

 

I try to mimic nsio's tutorial for a cute body construction that involves a ball being inserted under the ribcage (for some reason, and from there you connect a simplified shape to represent hips and pelvis, but I can't do it right so I end up not making sense of the ball and just drawing the tummy raw

he does this, and I liked it, but bruh I need to stop trying to use it because i don't get it lol. I forgot my master's teaching of guidelines are pointless if you don't understand the purpose of them, but I always blindly mimic what others do

 

I'll also attempt S curve line of action for spine, and build a skeleton from there and add flesh, but my gesture capabilities are bad so it sucks

 

anyhow, all that to say is I guess it varies, but in a way I feel 2d does more actually, cuz in theory we start with the action, which is like, a nebulous conceptualization of a verb in visual form, that you then build a skeleton from, that you then add muscles to, and then skin and fat, and then clothes etc

 

It is just simplified though as we aren't gonna draw every rib of course, or muscles that don't appear on the surface. but we often draw spine and pelvis and the limbs, but the skeleton for the arms may just be lines with circles for the joints, before the muscle and flesh comes. transition from muscle to flesh is more distinct if drawing an athletic male, I feel like with most females drawing the skin is combined with muscles

as you gain experience though you may start skipping steps, or your steps will look very vague to an outside viewer because you just draw hints of these things and your mind fills in the rest, but someone who isn't you wouldn't know what is going on and then at some point a finished looking sketch appears

I think was therapeutic shroom time even if I'm not sure I consciously figured something out. maybe my subconscious is healed a little. I had a semi spiritual experience staring at my drawing of Eara and talking to her and contemplating her whole existence and reason for existence, and kind of merged with her. maybe I forgived myself partially, and/or came to acceptance of how their existence is

 

I wish I had a drawing of tayomi on hand, and the others. maybe I'll prepare that for my next trip

oh yeah then you realize coloring is a whole concept and you have breakdown. your ability to understand 3d shapes in space and how light falls on it becomes important so if you f'd that up coloring correctly becomes impossible

 

3d modelling is cheating you have a computer generating the 3d space for you to build in lol imagine trying to process this on your own to represent on a 2d surface aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
