Breloomancer October 3 Share October 3 when people call something "non-evidence based" or "pseudo/unscientific", they should really make more effort to specify whether there is no systematic evidence because there has been to systematic attempt to find evidence, or whether there is no systematic evidence because people have tried to find it, and found nothing. the former case was true for all things at some point, and there are many things for which it is still true for which still have merit, but in the latter case, there is almost certainly little of value to be found anyone on the cutting edge of medicine must practice non-evidence based medicine routinely I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. TB October 3 Share October 3 (edited) It's actually physically impossible for a human to generate the strength to snap another human's neck apparently. That is just in movies. So you don't have to worry about them accidentally assassinating you like a ninja or james bond or something my uncle (who died before I was born) apparently would prank my mom by pretending to snap his own neck by cracking it hard then ragdoll limp on the floor as if he died lol I now imagine a child tayomi doing that to her caregivers as a kid lol What has usually helped my neck or back pains is just practicing chi gong. Idk what science says about it or if it is even studied enough to know but it does just seem to help me There is apparently more evidence acupuncture works than there is for chiropracty to work. Not that it is known acupuncture does much. It seems to activate your immune system with all the little prics or something though watching that asmr makes me nervous lol makes me think of the doctor at the TRC sanctuary who puts his patients under by hitting them in the head with a mallet I like it when it feels like my procrastination came in clutch cuz I have been about to start meditating for a bit now but haven't started, and then I get a knock on the door from someone trying to deliver doordash to the wrong door, so i would have just go interrupted if I started earlier Edited October 3 by TB Creation for creation's sake. ringgggg October 3 Share October 3 So you're saying that there's a difference between having evidence that was inconclusive and having no evidence at all? Sounds intuitive 12 minutes ago, TB said: watching that asmr makes me nervous lol I would be nervous if I had someone making those facial expressions at me D-prime is shrinking as we speak. GardenStones October 3 Share October 3 Have you ever taken a nap so good it took you hostage? I swear I keep having more and more experiences that line up, emotionally and mentally, with my experiences on THC. It feels weird to me. Several plants in a big world. TB October 3 Share October 3 I guess there would be evidence that is inconclusive, as in it doesn't seem to say one way or another, so more study needed. Evidence that something isn't the way it is thought to be. And then just no evidence because it hasn't been studied at all I think sometimes there are things where there isn't evidence it does what it says it does or at least in the way it says it does it, but it still does something useful. Chi gong may or may not be in that category, though I like to believe the subtle body is real and can be developed, but I don't think there is scientific evidence of it. I don't think that means it doesn't exist though. Even if it doesn't, for some reason chi gong does and chinese martial arts seem to be very nice to do but may be for reasons other than balancing qi 16 minutes ago, GardenStones said: Have you ever taken a nap so good it took you hostage? That happens in sleep in general sometimes. If I have a very good nap though usually I feel very good to get up afterwards. I don't like being sucked to bed unable to get up most of the time. I wanna just have a refreshing rest with a vivid and memorable dream that gives mood boost or something interesting to think about I want to try cbd again, gummies this time instead of tinctures. Maybe they help with falling asleep and/or social anxiety Creation for creation's sake. More of my drawings Resident Dojikko

TB October 3 Share October 3 yeah sometimes there is evidence for or against something too, but the studies that came up with the evidence were poorly constructed or had a small sample size youtube pop up with one of those note things except it is explaining what the titanic sinking was. Why lol. Do people deny the titanic sinking or does it just give fun facts now Creation for creation's sake. GardenStones October 3 Share October 3 Took another walk. My hips are definitely not Good but I think more exercise and a focus on good posture will help. Walking helps me talk to my headmates, too.
