speaking of that i just realized a retcon. well it already was retconned as early as garlic jr saga of Z but in dragonball it was said it was impossible to go to kami's lookout not through you're own power. you are supposed to climb up korin's tower and use power pole/nyouibo. i guess flying can also count if it is with a technique. planes or rockets are supposed to not be capable of reaching it. if that wasnt retconned, pilaf would have never got up there lol

 

i solve it in my mind by assuming they cant reach it because kami or current guardian wards off unworthy people, which is why bulma can get up there because she is a friend of goku who is an erai hito. and i assume pilaf got up there because dende was distracted by uub and goku's titanic battle, so did not see pilaf approaching. that would make a lot of sense so i dont really see it as a plot hole i guess, but it isnt explained in the show
