[Game] Last one to post wins!

Recommended Posts

Jean-luc's new game is interesting, but I'm afraid the constant penalties are going to dissuade others from playing. Jean-luc, do you mind if only like two people end up playing and we just win? Unless you're playing too, we don't really care enough to match that, but - I just see a game so full of negatives as burning people out quickly

Hi. I'm one of Luminesce's tulpas. Unlike the others, I don't think I stand out too much from him personality wise.

I'm just special because "I'm a tulpa". So I don't think I've much to offer, here. I'm happy enough to just be with him.

Yeah, I guess too many negatives encourages inactivity.

Yo, my name is Sean and I'm the host of 2 tulpas: Sente and Mae. You'll know when they're talking because Sente talks in yellow text and Mae talks in blue text.

Good morning, looking forward to seeing it

And yes, that's exactly what it feels like when someone loses 100 tulpabux lol.

:( aww, that certainly wasn't my intention

How else am I supposed to do it? There needs to be some penalty, right?

If it helps, more money has definitely been earned than lost at this point. But earning happens "automatically" so I haven't been announcing it as much.

i don't think too many negatives directly means less people will play it, i think it's just complicated rules in general, or the game not looking fun enough

most of our posts here were made in like thirty seconds, sometimes we get distracted while writing them and realise we're 20 minutes behind the rest of the chat though

that thirty second time isn't really enough for us to comprehend more complicated forum games, it's just easier for us to stick to the simple ones that we can spam

Aubrey speaks like this and Shield speaks like this. (at least most of the time)

I completely agree with Shield. The game has to be quick. We haven't been playing games lately, but if we do, quips are easier than trying to hold a 2-page rule-set in short term memory.

Sorry, we thought there was still a rule about losing all the money you'd earned the entire round (which is completely unfair btw) because you didn't remove that from the actual ruleset. I still think people will avoid posting because they're afraid of "losing"/negatives, but that's not really on you to account for, your job was only to make a game to be played by those who choose to do so, not to make it fit everyone's tastes
