Breloomancer October 25, 2020 Share October 25, 2020 I mean seeing them in person, and imposition whatnot doesn't count (seeing a god as a result of drugs and such does count though) I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Luminesce October 25, 2020 Share October 25, 2020 Uhm? I've seen... three snakes in person that I can remember? Though I've ~seen several more briefly or just their movements out and about. I haven't seen any gods in person, but that feels pretty limiting. If you saw a video of a circus performer online, it's not like you'd say you had never seen a circus performer before. I've seen and talked to a god of dance, over the internet.. Oh, and a god gamer, my friend that's just incredible at like every game he plays despite not having more experience than me or my other friends. And I worship ZUN like a god. So that's about as many snakes as gods. Maybe I've seen more snakes, maybe I've seen more gods - it might not be so apparent. I can't prove some random person I walk by in the street isn't a god Hi! Breloomancer October 25, 2020 Share October 25, 2020 how have you not seen more than 3 snakes? I haven't been counting the number of snakes that I have seen, but it is a lot more than 3. maybe more like 30 or 70 maybe it would be better to extend it to seeing any non fictional snakes/gods? worshiping someone as a god doesn't count unless you actually believe them to be a god. and I do not believe that you actually think that either of those other people are actual gods in the classical, divine sense, rather I think that you were using the colloquial definition of the word meaning someone who is so good at something that it seems near the limits of human capability, which is obviously a different definition than what was being used previously you don't know if someone on the street is a god, but you also don't know if they are a snake, so it's kind of a moot point I have a tulpa named Miela who I love very much. Luminesce October 25, 2020 Share October 25, 2020 I don't know, takeSomeCrime may have some divinity about him. 30 to 70 snakes? Even if I counted all the times I saw a snake in like a pet shop for less than a couple seconds I wouldn't be that high. And out-and-about, I know snakes have been around, but I haven't seen almost any of them before they quickly fled. I've seen like two people's pet snakes, and one little baby snake that got into our house somehow because my family is dumb lol. The rest would be glances at pet shops, which I have been to twice in my life. I probably saw some snakes at a zoo (I've also been to zoos twice in my life, excluding if I went before I was old enough to remember) but I don't remember them. Absolute tops, like 30 snakes, including if I quickly saw like 10 different snakes over 5 seconds at a pet shop. But personally I count basically every time I've seen a snake in good detail, including videos and pictures on the internet, which puts it well into the high hundreds, possibly 1000+. So.. even by most definitions of "god" snakes are far more common for me to see than gods. It would be weird to count Touhou since I've seen like 15,000 pictures of Suwako alone, then we'd probably have to count all the snakes when I saw like a snake pit in a movie or something... Hi! Guest October 25, 2020 Share October 25, 2020 We have a lot of snakes here, mostly harmless, but we have rattlesnakes too which are the ones to look out for. If I go on a walk there's about a 2.5% chance to see a snake in my neighborhood or on a hike. Mostly garden snakes and gopher snakes, but I've had to dispose of three rattlesnakes so far at this location. If you let them set up a nest that's asking for trouble. The gopher snakes can get pretty big, I saw two mating snakes this summer they were probably five feet long and the diameter of a small chicken egg. We have a lot of gophers here and since it never frosts they are around all year.
