Luminesce February 1, 2018 Share February 1, 2018 Here's a couple things you should know about if you don't: https://www.wanikani.com/ http://jisho.org I'll use the former.. some day, when I'm actually likely to be in Japan within a year or two, which isn't now. I use the latter constantly. Like, many times a week for a year now I think. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.
Guest Anonymous February 2, 2018 Share February 2, 2018 Already read about WaniKani. I don't like paying, and it's a web service, so if the company vanishes, it's gone. I prefer Anki; it's open source, available offline, doesn't cost money, and I'm able to tailor the cards. I can share my decks with you eventually, if you want. I guess Jisho looks useful. Luminesce February 2, 2018 Share February 2, 2018 I'm definitely already on the wanikani train, totally sold. I've seen a lot of programs meant to do the same thing, and that's the only one I ever decided I was willing to do. And uh, companies just don't disappear like that in my experience, but to each their own. I'm usually a self-learner for this stuff (or at least I piece bits and pieces of things together to help me learn), so Jisho is my best friend. I read things, look them up, remember them. But that's just a spare-time/interest thing. If I were actually going to Japan any time soon I'd invest in an actual program, like say, Wanikani. I try not to spend money often if I don't have to, but learning a language is on my list of things worth paying for. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Heckhound February 2, 2018 Share February 2, 2018 I loved Wanikani when I was using it. Easily one of my favorite Japanese resources. Anki is great too, and I plan on using it for Russian soon. pr // discord: Heckhound#6112

Spice February 17, 2018 Share February 17, 2018 No valentines stuff for me, I got tied up in some legalese and was in a terrible mood, so we didnt do anything. I should have, though. Spice's birthday was in January, and we didnt do anything huge for that either. :/ Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account.
