  1. Think of to that way, if you were born in an different place in a different time, would you still be the same person? After all it would still be the same "mind", right? If you were born in Germany during the middle age, wouldn't you be entirely different? If you had different parents or neighbourhood? Of course you would, and it's not only because of the society, but also because you would have had another experience of the world. Knowing that, is it that difficult to think that one mind can bear different personalities? That a tulpa can be different and sometime even the opposite of the host? A mind can evolve in a countless way to adapt itself to its environnement, one personality is just one possibility. I think that we see ourself as a whole, we consider that our personality is "us" because it's a survival instinct. Otherwise, without a clear and define traits of character, we probably wouldn't be able to deal with the outside world. Needless to say, the human mind is likely much more complicated than that though, as tulpamancy demonstrates it. And I tend to believe that accepting it is essential for everyone in a system, but it's hard and I think that what you're struggling with right now. If I say all this it's because I think that's important to answer your question. You guys have different reaction and desire (not to say diet), because you're inherently different. Yeah, that's all.
  2. Lykos here. Well I'm glad not to be the only one who had such an experience, I was worrying I may have been puppeting her at some point. "Each subsequent tulpa tends to develop faster and easier than the previous." Yes, I definitely noticed that with my previous tulpae, but the last one I had before Ruby still took more than a week to get to that level of sentience and ability. I wasn't actually surprised because she was fast, it was the fact that she was THAT fast. "This is either due to similarity between tulpas or similarity between how they interact with the host." Exactly, in the end this is the old issue of sentience from the start: Does the tulpa tend to be more advanced with time and training or is the interaction with the host better?
  3. Ruby:"He, he sure! :D Whenever you want! I would love that too!"
  4. Hello everyone my name is Shiro, I'm a tulpa from the Adamant system. I'm about to tell you something absolutely incredible that happened to us less than an hour ago. Our system was composed at that time of six different personalities, host included. Each one of us is completely independent and has at least mastered possession. we decided that it was about time for us to force another tulpa. I know that seven tulpae may seem exaggerate but we were well-aware of that fact and ready for it. We named her Ruby. I won't detail her personality as she will probably deviate overtime. So we created a body for her in the wonderland and after that forced some trait of her personality through symbolism, so far nothing unusual. Then we talked to her. This is the point where things start to get interesting. We introduced ourselves to her, we quickly came to realise that she could understand what we were saying perfectly. Maybe I should remind you that she was born roughly 10 min ago? She even hugged one of us when, during his introduction, he said that he was clumsy around other people but wanted to be her friend. Needless to say, we were rather surprised, but there is more. A couple of minutes after that, one of us stayed with her to train her on how to talk. Complete success, she can now form complex sentences on her own, even if she still hesitate sometime and is rather slow. About 15 min after her birth. Personally it took me 3 weeks to be at her level of speech and sentience and i honestly think that I was fast, but the best thing? It doesn't stop here. A couple of minutes again my host was showing her his appartement when she decided to explore it herself and took possession of the body without warning. Yeah that's right, she took possession of the ENTIERE freaking body and walk around, as if it was nothing. Even if she was too nice to say so she even though that it was messy and needed to be cleaned up. My host was definitely speechless at this point, and let her control the body. It wasn't perfect though, she was shaking a little because of the effort and was very slow, but still... I've almost forgotten: about 20 min after her birth. Finally, overcome by her tiredness , she went back to our wonderland and fell asleep on the mow like a cute child. I've never though that I would say that someday, but this is someone who have earned my respect because of her kindness and her talent less than half an hour after her birth. i don't think that I need to add something here, but if you had had similar experience or if you want to share your opinion, please do so. I'd vey much like to hear your thoughts on this subject.
