  1. yeah, i was too hype for lain in 2017 when i last visited the forum, need to stay current, Ai Ohto is firmly on all my media since 2019
  2. I've been catching up on the posts, and your story is almost identical as mine, which is fascinating. Though, despite finding all these things, I feel like a piece is still missing, maybe Tulpa is that piece.
  3. Do you really think you can consider anyone as being good, when the only thing holding them from ripping your throat are laws and moral codex? It doesn't matter how many children you saved in Africa, if you knew you would be able to do anything without prosecution, I fear for the weak ones. There is no feeling in the world more satisfactory than the feeling of dominance over another, no difference what we tell ourselves. Thanks, I will spend time thinking about it.
  4. Well, the key of the topic was to answer the question will a person regret creating tulpa as decades pass, but I think I got the whole picture. Then followed the discussion of the tulpa effect on afterlife and life, so I think the core of this thread is followed and it is actually interesting. Going back to enlightment, the points you stated actually make sense to me. Nitzsche, for example has reached the enlightment, even though it is worth pointing out that he died of AIDS. The point that doesn't make sense to me is the refusal from the material things. I mean, I understand the idea that in order to fully realize your existance you need to cope happiness from ourselves. In a way finding happy boxes in our souls and opening them, though it is a nature of a person to be dependent on materialistic things. Otherwise we would be extinct long ago, because as in raw strengths we are weaker than many. I think coming up with all of those spirituality ideas was done too late, because humans exceeded every animal long ago, so there is no one left to fight, but ourselves. Also I don't believe that anyone can become a better person, it is too subjective. It doesn't matter what image person builds, in the end with more knowledge any person eventually becomes worse and worse.
  5. The problem with Christianity or any religion that idolizes One, as being the absolute power, is that they are really far from metaphysical ideas. For each religion there is a specific set of rules, if you follow them: virgins (which I always found weird), heaven, etc. Basically it tells you to follow some generic rules and doesn't require you to develop. There are no requirenments for people to evolve, on the contrary they despise the progress, which is out of there comfort zone, even now. Many of those people afraid of everything that is outside their body, any thought, reminder, prove of death scares and consequently angers. No spiritual development is actually required to be a good Christian, just to follow rules and loopholes. Tulpa related, speaking from Christianity perspective, they shouldn't be afraid to make one, because it wouldn't contradict the bible. So to sum up, what is not forbidden is allowed. Though there ARE possesion stories and evil spirits in the bible, they are normally a representation of one of the 7 deadly sins. Again, bible is vague, very hard to find the correct meaning there, though tulpa wouldn't be considered spirit, because spirits force you to commit actions, so in some way, tulpa is closer to an angel concept. Angels come individually most of the times and help people overcome the difficultes they face and some of them, very close to tulpa. This bible line basically shouts Angel == Tulpa: Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation? Salvation is used metaphorically.
  6. I shortened your answer, but i read it all. First of all, damn that was a good read. Ok, that's off my chest, now to the answer. First comes your afterlife concepts. I am not very familiar what is the origin of the concepts you provided, but I understand your idea. You say that developing a tulpa, means to be stuck on the low levels of metaphysical existance, because a person becomes limited in his mind evollution, as he puts himself in a situation, where he spends his mental energy developing a new conscious, trying to make it equal in development to his. This implies that the mental growth is slowed and the person looses any wish to develop himself further, because the primary need of the deep connection is satisfied. At some point I believe those ideas and I do believe in afterlife, because of euphoria a person experiences before death and unlikely high charge of energy released in the moment of death. However I believe the concept is limited, because it implies that 1 perfectly developed mind oversteps the 2 well developed minds. It seems like your idea doesn't believe that the final form of evollution is a collective mind, where both logic and emotions from all of the possible perspectives will be used to reach consensus. To put it simply, you believe the absolute power to be God, 1 highest developed mind and I believe the absolute to be collective consensus of many minds, from lowest development to highest. Even crazy drunk from your yard may have the sollution for world food crisis if he would be given a possibility to fully express himself. Going back to tulpa, the afterlife is directly affected whether the mental plane is actually the lowest, or the highest. Arguably by using strong hallucination inducing drugs you reach the highest spiritual condition, however according to many people, it doesn't matter if you get to the heaven or hell when you are high, you are never alone there, you always feel the presense and hear voices. You are nothing and you are everythin, common phrase in animes, but still correct and that what I think is to be in the highest dimension. Would tulpa limit your mental state or expand it? I can argue it both ways. Now, to people. After facing a major dissapointment in my life by people, I dedicated about 5 years of my life studying people's behaviors, emotions, reaction, etc. Today, i know it sounds like I am pretending to be a fictional character, but I learned to fully identify people just by talking with them for 5 mins. It made me hate all the 'normies', because it doesn't matter how much money they got, how smart they are, they are boring people and completely open book to me. Even though I was successful in finding some unique people and learned to pretend to like normies, I thought that tulpa, as being my equal and fully understanding me, would be a perfect companion. About AI learning to be sentient. There is an example of robot Paul, that was created to make signatures, but after realizing its existence and trying to preserve his kind, he ends up killing all the humans, as the only logical conclusion. I think AI sentience and tulpa are related, and if tulpa wouldn't be dependent on host, tulpas would kill EVERYONE in order to preserve their kind, because who knows, they can pretend to be loving, because they realize the conditions of their existance, be nice = exist. As a person believing in spirituality and wanting to use my full mental potential, I think tulpa wouldn't be right for me, that's why it takes me so long to decide.
  7. Well, don't expect tulpa to be an oracle, which knows everything you once knew, but in some cases might help. Though it doesn't work like you have probably seen in Sherlock Holmes, it is very random.
  8. Thank you very much for giving your perspective and telling your story, it really helps.
  9. Thanks for your reply. Indeed your points make sense and close to answering the question. I guess no Buddhist with 30 years tulpa experience will come to this forum and shred some detailed light how he matured with tulpa, so your answer is probably the closest one I can get for this question. Though self destruction is a relative concept and I don't think it is only about "becoming crazier", but in this case more about switching the comfort zone to the one that doesn't fit you. Mostly true. Though replacement not only substitutes existing people, but also potential future people Mu is a perfect answer :) Thanks for the reply. Well I could have written a lot more, but in the end decided to reduce it, otherwise it would be an essay, not a question) Thanks for sharing your experience, it helps a lot. Thanks for reply, I guess if I look at it from perspective "ordinary is boring, new experiences matter", it overwrites every single concern. I will think about it today, but I am pretty sure I will fully commit tomorrow. Thanks for all of the replies, guys, you are figuratively rockstars. ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
  10. Thanks for reply. To be honest I am always the chatty one, so I am totally comfortable talking non-stop. People of my age (19) don't really know a lot about anything, so i think that tulpa is perfect to challenge my ideas. Well with fun time spending as a bonus. I am almost certainly aware of what tulpa experience is like, for me it is not really about having someone around me all the time, but about how it will change me. It doesn't even matter that tulpa will help me to leave my comfort zone or do anything positive, it is about whether this change is illusionary or real. The difference is, illusionary change destroys who you are, it is like doing a job that you find boring, not enough to quit and to like it. Yes you can become a better person, but does this suit really suit you, or I would just go to full escapism untill in 40s i will realize that there is no real me that I can find satisfactory It is a bit jibberish, but hope you get the idea
  11. Thanks for the reply anyways, the fact that tulpa dragged you to do it, really helps
  12. I have to admit, the website with statistics surprised me, because there are more male tulpamancers than female, because females tend to be more emotional. I think it is related to the fact that it is normal for girls to share their problems with others, while for boys it is considered 'uncool', so they keep it inside. Actually as I type it, it makes sense why there are more male tulpamancers. Scope is small though, however if all those people are not trolls, then a good scope. Relative. Well, I know that there are even very old hosts, because in Buddhism, tulpas are equivalent of spiritual animal, and, damn, those guys know how to meditate. Of course having an abillity to cross the line between reality and dream as easily as going to grab a food, makes your tulpa experience worth, but no one in 21st century living in urban areas has time for this kind of practise, especially with our informational addiction. Oops I forgot the original topic. I mean that as tulpa becomes 'trendy' people tend to go to internet, and we know who dominantly uses internet, but it's not really important. It's just that I know what regret can do to you, how it changes you. I wonder if at some point in the future, talking about decades, you will forget who you were in the beginning. Though my next thought is whether it is actually important who you were, and multuplicity means getting closer to the real evollution. Though the question is whether the last step of evollution is development of quallity of ideas or their quantity. I am taking long to decide, because I have a large wonderland for like 10 years already, so tulpa creation will be really quick for me. Anyways thanks for your reply. It is not really a question whether I want a tulpa, I really do, but whether I will start eating "I can't believe it's a real butter" instead of a real one.
  13. Hey, guys Soo, this will be a bit of a long read, but I hope some of you will think seriously about what I have to say here. The question discussed here is the one that causes my greatest concerns about tulpa, and if I get an honest answer, I will fully commit to creating tulpa. I am not new to this this forum, but made new acc, so I can remain anonymous, because I used my actual nickname last time. Start: Considering tulpa for 2 years, I thought about pros and cons for a long time. Will we get bored from each other, do I need it, is it just a phase and etc? Seems like for many people this is not the case, so I am constantly reading about people's experiences with tulpa for 3, 4, 5 years, mostly positive. Then I realized that most of us probably are aged from 12 to 25 (I am not saying it is bad, I am just pointing out). It made me wonder about the reasoning of tulpas. People of this age range usually suffer either from loneliness, inabillity to find your place in the adult world, hatred of people or other examples. Obviously, those factors are the ones motivating people to create a tulpa. I just don't see alpha fe_male surrounded by souls creating one to fulfill himself even more. So is this an escapism or a worthy substitute? This is relatively a new concept (i know its buddhism history), so young ones would be the ones to adopt it. I am positive that almost all of the people here have tulpa_s for less than 10 years, which makes me wonder, if tulpa for us is just an alternative not to face sadness, betrayals, which everyone will experience, if they open up to anyone at the same level as to tulpa? I know that many suffer from social anxiety/awkwardness, but forget about those factors for now, the question is not about this. As an adult, would you still be able to fully commit to new life that you created, without any regrets? Think that your action was correct? There is a saying that only regret can change the nature of a man, so when a decade passes, will your action allow you to be the best person that you could have become, or will your comprehension of the thing you have done with your brain of creating new life consume you, leaving an empty person? Many people are ready to rip anyone apart to stand for their truths: religion, political movements, freedom fights, etc; Is tulpa the truth, in which you believe you can stand for your whole life, without ever looking back and having a thought: "Maybe it was my inner kid thinking, that liked to build sand castles, which no one could ever break?" I know that this forum is really into sugarcoating things (not saying it's bad), but try to answer this one from neutral point of view, maybe even ask your tulpas, even though I expect only hosts to be able to answer this one.
