  1. I recently got diagnosed with schizophrenia, its interesting to see another person in the tulpa community who's also schizo. Unfortunately my tulpa Fey was more or less drowned out by my other hallucinations, but hearing that tulpas stick around even on anti psychotics is great news, so I'm going to start forcing again. Thanks for posting about this, it has given me hope for a friend in my messy mind.
  2. 1-12-13 I got shared the link to the creepypasta and became morbidly fascinated by the idea of tulpae. After a Google search, I come across tulpa.info, and read more on the topic of tulpas. 1-13-13 I suffer severe hallucinations without an understandable cause. This makes me decide to create a tulpa. After deciding on the form that I want her to take (a fire creature which shifts between a cat and a girl), I begin working on her personality. My best friend helps me round out her personality by asking questions about her. After this I spend between 30 minutes and 1 hour telling "her" (what was then just an orange glow) about her personality. I get a very strong presence pressing against the inside of my head. 1-14-13 Her personality starts leaking through into my actions, and I don't know what is happening, so I try to close her off. Later, I work on visualization, so that she is somewhere, not corrupting my emotions. Little progress is made. 1-15-13 I narrate to her all day. In the evening, she makes a crude joke about me, but I do not recognize it. 1-16-13 The mental energy which I have been pouring into forcing her has left me exhausted, so I take the day off from forcing. 1-17-13 Back at narration, and in the evening, I decide to sit down and force for a while. Approximately 10 minutes into the session I get a very clear vision of her, unlike anything I have seen before. She reaches up and tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear. I check with tulpa.info for advice, and decide to ask her to wake me up in the morning. 1-18-13 I woke up when I asked, but learn that it was not necessarily her doing it. During the day I get bored and start thinking about playing Fallout: New Vegas, and she asks what it is. We have a simple conversation about it, and I am now sure that she is sentient. 1-19-13 I learn that her name is (or at least is for the time being) Fey. We have several short conversations. I can visualize her pretty well by now, and have a little open-eye ability. Up to date now, will keep updated.
  3. Friend linked me the creepypasta, which led me to become morbidly fascinated with tulpas, when I searched them I found FAQ_man's guide, and through a series of not thought out decisions and some hallucinations, I began work on Fey.
  4. I narrate mentally to my tulpa almost constantly, and have done very little visualization, almost no solid time forcing, and on day 5 I had an entire conversation, so switch to narration, and you should be good.
  5. The night before I began forcing my tulpa, I had incredibly vivid and unexpected hallucinations. I had done nothing to cause them, and I was terrified. So I began forcing with the idea of someone to help me in dangerous situations in mind. I was also really bored.
  6. Hey everyone, you can call me Crazy, I just started forcing my tulpa around 5 days ago, and she is sentient and we have had a few conversations. I have had lots of experience and attended several talks on visualization and (I now realize) creating tulpas, as my family practices Tibetan Buddhism.
  7. Narrate nonstop, just tell your tulpa about everything that is happening. Also, I did a lot of my forcing just before going to sleep (which I have since learned is a very bad idea), but it allowed me to pour literally all of my energy into forcing, so much that I would fall asleep straight from forcing, and not notice it. But just keep up the feeling of being with your tulpa, who will hopefully realize this and start talking to you. And always respond, it's going to be hard to differentiate from your own thoughts. But try this, it's what I did and I have spent almost no time doing hard, drawn out forcing sessions and I am already having conversations. Good luck.
  8. A fire-creature, I don't really know how to explain it, sometimes she is a flaming human, sometimes she is just fire, sometimes a cat or a fox, it changes
  9. My tulpa responds best to hard and alternate rock, happened across it on pandora and had a major emotional response
  10. Hi everyone, I'm very new to tulpaforcing. In fact, I just started 4 days ago. I can always feel the place in my head where she is, exerting a small but constant mental pressure. She has already spoken to me several times, questioning me, and once making a crude but amicable joke at my expense. I have questioned her afterwords, without a response. When I began visualization, before I could even begin creating a form, she showed me herself (I would have never imagined this form for her), and moved (without me) to tuck some hair back behind her ear. I now see her frequently, but when I am not paying attention, sometimes she will pass me on the street, and just now I saw her out of the corner of my eye sitting and watching me read. This progression seems far too quick, seeing as I have spent at most 7 hours tulpaforcing. Can anyone offer advice or help as to what is going on? Also, sorry about the length, I didn't know how else to describe this.
