  1. The links in should still work, although the formatting is a bit messy
  2. Bre broke 30k posts in this thread, I'm not sure if we should be holding a celebration or an intervention.
  3. Bean bags are fun, I should get one of those so I can rest in that. Are you implying I'm never coming back? C'mon! I've been extremely consistent checking this site exactly once every 1-50ish weeks
  4. I'm flattered but, I can't remember their name but the same person who made valhal.la also made their own changing avatar back when that was a thing
  5. Yeah don't tell them I said so but the same thing applies to tulpa.info...
  6. On TV Tropes, you go "oh huh that's interesting" and click link after link until your whole afternoon has disappeared and you go "woah!" and continue on with your life. On LessWrong, you can so easily get pulled into a hivemind so focused on thinking it does nothing else. Your hobby becomes reading, writing, and thinking really hard. There are volumes and volumes you can read from other people thinking really hard, and you'll never be done. This is your life now. Of course just like TV Tropes it is of course possible to read one page and be done. It's simply a matter of how easy it is to get pulled in.
  7. Interesting. Also linking to LessWrong should have a bigger warning than TV Tropes
  8. I would hope images in posts *also* don't point to random URLs and are instead served by tulpa.info's servers... Edit: Nope, it just links directly. Hope whatever random image host you use doesn't go down in the future. So I guess the difference is, one it does the right thing and the other it doesn't. So you could make a changing picture in a post. Which could be used for both good and bad. Oooh, interesting. How is it different? (link me a post if you've already written about this)
  9. yes hi good I don't think it's possible. It's kindof bad that it was possible on the old site, since it meant every visitor's browser making a request to any random URL anyone typed in. I am curious what your idea is.
  10. Woah, this thread passed 100k replies.
  11. You haven't heard of Nintendo's famous 10,000-day refund policy?
  12. Did you draw this just for lotpw? We need like a lotpw best-of or something. 10/10 where can I buy this tupla oil.
