  1. I suppose you're correct, funny thing is, I talked to my brother about what Zye had done and he told me about the same technique you've named. I had not heard of such a technique before then, so there's that! Thank you! Yes, I don't see why not! And for some, I'm sure that way is a lot more efficient. We find it a bit easier to keep track of things when they have very defined boundaries, such as a different wonderland entirely. Most likely because of my short memory. So yes, your way does work as well! Thank you!
  2. So I was listening to my phone's music library on shuffle today when I came across a song that reminded me heavily of tulpa. The song is Within by Daft Punk. I recommend you just listen to the lyrics, it's a great song. [video=youtube] There are so many things that I don't understand There's a world within me that I cannot explain Many rooms to explore, but the doors look the same I am lost, I can't even remember my name I've been, for sometime, looking for someone I need to know now Please tell me who I am [2x] There are so many things that I don't understand There's a world within me that I cannot explain Many rooms to explore, but the doors look the same (where are the locks to try the key?) I am lost, I can't even remember my name (and I wonder why) I've been, for sometime, looking for someone I need to know now Please tell me who I am [4x] (Post merged from Tulpa Music thread.)
  3. "I'm not saying this is some big breakthrough, just an idea or thing to try out in your free time." So recently my tulpa, Zye, has been helping me remember things. I am a very forgetful person, and so I'm very thankful for what Zye has been doing. He calls his idea "Memory Logging". What he does is he creates a totally new wonderland for any topic that I might come across. Each has a different theme but every one has a clever way to help me remember. One wonderland was the difference between a failing and a passing grade on a history test, to be honest. I'm not saying this is some big breakthrough, just an idea or thing to try out in your free time. What Zye does is whenever he thinks I'll have trouble remembering something, or whenever I ask him to, he creates a wonderland. And inside that wonderland he builds things that can help me remember things. For example, one wonderland is a sort of barbaric encampment. I use it for when I need to remember some of the best things to say to people when they're having a rough time. The way I remember is because in the encampment, everything runs on a system. Kind of like the human mind. Sometimes it breaks down. But it can almost always get back up. There's a gray rock that tells me what to say to people. That sounds weird, but it's hard to explain it any other way. The rock is surrounded by rolling spheres, which change directions whenever I get a new idea on what to say to someone who's having a hard time. Not all of the wonderlands are this complicated, and trust me, they don't have to be at all. Have you and your tulpa(s) find new ways to have the wonderlands remind you. After all, your mind is your mind. I'm curious to see what you come up with, and if the idea is even any help whatsoever. So if it works, or if you have any suggestions on how to improve it, or anything that you've found works better, don't be shy to post a reply for it! Thanks for reading, we appreciate it.
  4. Oh, one thing I completely forgot to mention was the fact that there was an issue with my wonderland that depicted a creek, stones, and was in the woods. The problem is, well, hard to explain. All of the sudden the sun in the wonderland just got really, really, bright. and I for one personally hate direct sunlight, and much prefer it to be behind a cloud or something of the sort. I just have an issue with it, it makes me uncomfortable. We have no idea how it happened. I tried switching it back, but to no avail. It kept coming back. I took some advice from my brother who told me to try building a wall over it. And of course, that didn't work either. So we just decided it wasn't worth it. We moved to a new wonderland that I believe was sort of like my old school. Eventually Zye decided he didn't like it and so we now we come to the present, where we have a wonderland that is sort of an enchanted forest, there's a stream with a bridge over it, trees, and flowers that glow white. So, it's pretty fun. Anyway that's what was going on.
  5. Hey so it's been awhile since I've last updated this. Zye and I have taken a step back. We're working on narration mostly. I can hear him better now. Yeah man things are going good. So Zye has officially given himself a last name. Zye Sheppard. I like it. I think it has a nice ring. Good on ya mate.
  6. Last night, Zye and I attempted possession. It was successful on the first try! He lifted my index finger off my keyboard tray. Today, he lifted all five of the fingers on my right hand up. I am very proud of him. He is very proud of himself. We're setting up a schedule for possession, and figure out what we want to try in what order. So far, the order is as follows. Right Index Finger Lift: Done Right Hand Lift: Done Right Arm Lift: Left Arm Lift: Right Leg Lift: Left Leg Lift: Head Lift: Head Turn: Stand Up: Walk: We're going to try again in a few hours or so.
  7. Zye lifted my index finger on the first try, and we were both excited, and I was proud of him! Today, he lifted all of my fingers up. This guide is so helpful, thank you so much!
  8. Zye has started giving me more complex answers, and he's making his own decisions more. He's building more things in our wonderland. I am very excited.
  9. 1. Who have you told about your tulpa(s) and how did they react? I first told my two best friends, and they thought it was awesome. One of them is still deciding whether or not to make one for herself. I then told my girlfriend about the concept, and that I had one. She took it pretty well, I haven't officially introduced her to Zye, though. Oh, and funny story, I told my internet friend about it, but I forgot he was uber religious, and we don't really talk anymore, he thinks I'm satan or something, I don't know. 2. How did you find out about tulpas? My brother found out about them, and he told me about it, and I was super interested in them, and I made one for myself. 3. Do you talk to your tulpa(s) in public/ private (with/without Bluetooth), in your head/ out loud? I talk to Zye all the time in my head when I'm in public. I only talk to him aloud when I'm alone. 4. (Not very relevant to the main topic, but I'm still curious.) How old were you when you found out/ made your first tulpa? Ah was firteen(thirteen) when ah firs found out about dem. (oh noes ah too yung) Mental Age: green
  10. Oh, hello everyone. I suppose I'm starting this log a bit late, compared to most. My tulpa, Zye, is going to be a month old in three days. (May 30th. He was born April 30, 2013) But still, I figured, 'why not?' So, here it is. Zye was created April 30th, 2013. He originally looked like a sort of ghost dog thing. Zye achieved sentience in about two weeks, which is rather quick, according the the other progress reports I've read. Eventually, we changed his form to a more practical one. He now is a human, with black hair, and he has black irises, and black scleras. He always wears a white t-shirt, and usually wears a purple zipper jacket on top of that. Sometime he switches to a blue zipper jacket, but that's only rarely. When I first created him, I started with a simple wonderland. It was an L-shaped room with a TV, couch, fireplace, and a monitor that showed him what I was seeing. (I did this to sort of practice, I don't know) We worked on Narration. And it went well. I was getting simple answers out of him, and he was making his own choices in only two weeks. One day, I was home from school, and bored, so I decided I'd take a walk in the woods behind my house. There's this area by the creek, with two stone walls that used to hold up a bridge. The bridge ran across the creek. I sat on top of one of the walls, enjoying the bright sunlight that shined in through the opening in the canopy of the trees. Zye and I absolutely loved it. We decided to make it our wonderland. And that's where the log catches up with the present. I suppose I'll write an entry in here whenever something noteworthy happens. Goodbye!
  11. Zye and I got perfect scores on our fourth try. This is great! Thank you so much!
