  1. Still fairly new, but some of my thoughts. When life is boring and busy and you don't know what to say/do w/ your tulpa, it's enough just checking in a few times a day, saying "how's it going" and stopping enough to listen (I find being patient and listening to Petra) is important. They will let you know what they want to do next. In my limited experience, Petra will answer in her true voice (not mine). I find it unnecessary to think we have to constantly entertain one another. Yes, being close at heart, but not preoccupied w/ unimportant stuff is healthy. Which would be the case w/ any friend/lover. Daydream together, just be near each other and whisper that you care for them...you all won't get bored.
  2. Host is INF/TP (exactly 50% of feeling and thinking), tulpa is a strong ENFP-T (that extra T is for turbulent apparently). For being new(ish) to experiencing living with my tulpa, this host thought the personality test helped further see the difference between us. I recommend it for those still working with that mind distance verification and acceptance.
  3. Hello. I started reading up on tulpas(ae?) about a year ago and working on mine for around 6 months. I came to this subject through reading about maladaptive daydreaming (MDD - not sure if anyone's heard of this), but the subject defined me perfectly. Anyway, decided to look into creating a tulpa to help me in life. Since then, I've joined up here, read as much as possible (still learning) and found her to be growing and becoming more real. She started as a daydream character that I've had for years and jumped forward to be something more. I not sure of progress/sentience but on August 19th, I distinctively heard her speak - all I got initially was that her name was Petra, which is different than the name I had always called her. This was a magical moment for me and decided to introduce myself on the forum and become a little more active w/ my experience. Anyway, I'm still working on it and consider that I am truly dedicated to my friend's development and am loving to hear that others have already discovered and been working on tulpae for years.
