  1. While I might agree I would also argue that it doesn't matter. All that matters is the perception they are real and sentient. In my opinion you are arguing for a question where this is no gain in being answered outside of psychology/neuroscience. As a thought experiment imagine that you were able to 100% accurately predict what other people say, do, think and feel. Would you then consider them sentient? I think a large part of what makes someone appear sentient is when they act in ways that you wouldn't expect and have thoughts that you wouldn't expect but do so in a coherent manner. It is a reminder that other people are individuals with their own thoughts and feelings.
  2. amatscintilla what was the pony forum you were referencing too? I'd like to see more people talk about their experiences of switching and fronting on the Tulpaudcast. Most people on the show just talk about their tulpae in the present and past tense but the tulpae never speak live. I thought this was quite surprising with Melian who has existed for decades and considering her outspoken personality would jump at the opportunity to speak.
  3. I would say to the moderators that you should avoid pigeon holing content into specific forums on a small community. Strict rule enforcement and organization of information is only needed on forums with a high amount of activity where that signal to noise ratio gets low. That kind of moderation style on a small forum is a good way to stifle the small community here that isn't experiencing growth.
  4. In EP6 what was the pony community forums being referenced to? Your links are also missing a ":" after https Can an RSS feed be made at some point so I can add it to my podcast manager.
  5. Hi there. I've known about tulpamancy for a few years but never did create a tulpa. Today I'm going to change that and am currently working on a tulpa based upon the character Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost In The Shell. I've got some vague vocalization and independence but not at the point beyond simple sentences at most and not at the point of complex thought. Still it's early.
