turntechGodhead November 20, 2013 November 20, 2013 Hey! I'm Savarah, and I've been wondering about if you can draw your tulpa as a form of tulpaforcing? I draw my tulpa a lot, but I don't know if it helps actually force him at all. (If there's already a thread for this please let me know, I couldn't find one) Please help, as soon as possible! ^u^
Guest Riy November 20, 2013 November 20, 2013 Drawing is a great way to visualize and cement your idea of what your tulpa looks like, their proportions, etc. Because you're visualizing your tulpa in order to draw it, and thereby focusing on him, then it is in itself actively forcing. You may even realize things you didn't know or think about. Your tulpa may even have input or try to guide you into helping you visualize exactly what they look like. It can't hurt if nothing else. I highly recommend it.
Redline November 20, 2013 November 20, 2013 Oh, hey, Savarah. Just saw you in the intro thread. Riy is on the money. Drawing is visualization, because you have to have a form in your head to represent on the paper, and foreshortening + proportioning is a pretty good example of having to hold an idea of a form in a bit of 3 dimensional space, even if for a moment. I would add that if you are going to draw them, you would want to run the gamut and try differing styles to get a feel for deviation, maybe go from quick 1 minute timed sketches to attempting to imagine what it would look like on the stained glass of a church. Personally, I can't draw unless it's in Okami, so if this is your talent, go for it with guns ablaze. This is where all the good stuff goes
Guest Anonymous November 20, 2013 November 20, 2013 I agree, this is a good way for visualization. I'm still having trouble seeing my tulpas completely, but drawing them puts the image in my head.
turntechGodhead November 20, 2013 Author November 20, 2013 Thank you guys! Wow, that's good. I love drawing my tulpa, so it's good to know that that helps force him too! :D
