Avatar186 January 20, 2016 January 20, 2016 Hello. I am new here. I have only recently decided to create what many of you call a Tulpa. I am an ascetic of sorts. I use the word ascetic for I am not of any lineage. A tulpa was often a " deity ". A personality composed of Qualities and nuances, likes and dislikes. Deities were often chosen because their attributes were higher than the sadhus. Avishkara is the method of becoming one with your chosen tulpa. Tulpas are not necessarily needed. The difference between a yogi/shakta and an Aghori among other things is a Tulpa. You can have one or many tulpas. The form may differ but the force used to create them is the same. In short I presume you all understand the basic creation of a tulpa. Yet through skimming this forum, I do not see much in the ways of what could be considered feeding your tulpa. Tulpas are like fire. throw a stick in the fire, the stick is burned the fire grows. twig, branch, log. Mantra= sound of association yantra = image of association tantra = action this is a basic formula for japa. japa being the repetition of an action to generate force. I presume many have heard of focusing. The peak of focus is absorption. sensory withdrawl consciously happens mid way. Yet there are many ways to generate force, many ways to feed your tulpa. Some build a fire in a yantric fashion to represent their tulpa, an they preform mantric repition coupled with focuse. Some use emotion. An extreme description of this is the ascetic who would yell and scream at his tulpa, he would throw things at her, curse and argue, then he would swing into states of bliss. Emotional intensity is easily attained with anger, love and bliss is much harder extreme to reach, yet they are close pathways in the brain ( dopamine pathways). Not only was his tulpa empowered greatly, but he was transformed as well. Fear has also been used to feed a tulpa. As has every other emotion. The tulpa is not colored by the emotion, for the tulpa being fed is already a defined personality. In all honesty, focuse and mantra is regarded as the safest way to empower a tulpa. Sadhana involving forces is considered a much more dangerous path yet is much quicker as well. An interesting way of describing this. Anything given enough time becomes intense. Ever sat still in a comfortable position for a long period of time? You will eventually want to figit, you will want to reposition because you have become uncomfortable, if you do not move, that strain increases, the muscles will cramp, pain will begin to grow. A pain that is not harmful yet unbearable will arise. this is an example of a little force that has grown big. now give it to your tulpa. feed the fire. there are countless ways. Even pranayama, the art of breath is unknown in todays culture. it is very powerful and is manipulation of cellular respiration ( hyperventilation/hypoventilation). this is not necessarily quick breathing, for such things are easily done at an even pace by the knowledgable. it has long been regarded that the power and ability of a tulpa is based on the sadhana preformed. IE he who knows how to feed a fire, knows how to make it grow. The more it grows, the more it is able to do. As for abilities of a tulpa well, what man can do a tulpa can do. Yet most do not know what man can do. If they eyes see yet are deprived of an object, you have visions. if the ears hear yet there is no sound, auditory hallucinations happen. For me, even without a tulpa my sensory of tactile feeling is mixed with all other senses ( mirror touch synesthesia). Yes, I literally feel the music. Point being, the range of a tulpa depends on the tulpa. Just as the range of a shakta depends on the shakta. There are various relations to a tulpa. Mother father sister brother spouse sibling child friend. That is why say Smashan tara is considered the safest of the 10 maha vidya. For Tara is nurturing. If you take her on as your mother, she sees you as her child. In the end, talk to your tulpa about this. Do not be fooled. A hypnotist tells you, you cannot be hypnotized against your will. This is a false statement, and is a type of hypnotization in itself. In the same way, The path of tulpas is synonymous with saying the path of spirits. Thus realize, you are most likely safe, but not necessarily. And SO! that ends my introduction. Lets speak of tulpas. Why do you desire this path? why have a tulpa? What are your methods for fueling the fire of your tulpa?
Avatar186 January 22, 2016 Author January 22, 2016 Although I would love to post on other threads, my posts are often slight tangents. In reply to tulpas and Esp. I presume. For your tulpa to have esp, you must have esp. Focusing on emptiness I believe was the old method for developing this. The senses never stop trying to sense, if deprived of sense object, what we call (hallucination) happens. Often referred to as visions when it happens with the eyes. Phantom sensations. This is not something I have personally put a lot of time into. Once done to an extreme, it because Easter to switch back and forward. For me (disassociation of tactile feeling, feeling without object) led to my tactile feeling mixed with my other senses. This is am ability with many uses. I can feel all things I see and hear, plus taste and smell. I can even feel tactile feeling, which is basically a feedback loop, an does increase the intensity. As I have neglected focusing on tulpa creation. Mainly due to the fact that I didn't not feel I had enough information. Anyway, due to neglect I can be considered relatively new. As such I can only comment so much. As I advance, I will comment anew.
