INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone! Welcome to my progress report!

First of all, let me tell you a bit about myself. My name is Sachiko, but please just call me Sachi! I first heard about tulpas about five years ago. The concept immediately appealed to me but, at the time, I was unsure if I was ready for a commitment of that sort. Throughout the years, I continued reading about the subject and lurking in different tulpa communities and IRC channels. A few months ago, I thought that I was finally ready to take on the challenge of creating and fully developing a tulpa. I was about to move to a new country and was convinced that having one would be a great way for me not to feel so lonely. Unfortunately, with the stress of the move, tulpamancing was left in the back-burner. I feel absolutely ready to restart now, and I am confident that this time will be the charm!

So, what is this thread? It is not meant to be a guide, but to serve as a development blog of my experience. I do not expect anyone to read my ramblings in their entirety! Instead, I have chosen to share them because I am hoping that they can be of some use to others who, like me, wish to (re)start their journeys in tulpamancy. Additionally, I am hoping that keeping a public journal will hold me accountable to my own exploits, as well as keep me motivated as time goes by.

How will I approach tulpamancy? I do not intend to strictly follow any guide. As there is an abundance of great resources of out there, I will most likely try several different approaches and see what works best for myself, as well as experiment with some new approaches of my own. As of this moment, I plan on loosely following the creation steps suggested in "Tulpa's DIY Guide to Tulpamancy". Moreover, I will refer to FAQ Man's infamous hour counts.

That's all for now! x
