She once tried to immerse herself in her mind, but couldn’t do it because she can’t Lucinda dream. By immerse, I mean for weeks. Too deep to be woken by anything or anyone. I stopped her. Then again, who's to say it can't be both? Lucid dreaming is strange. Trying to be in a deep slumber for weeks like that simply isn't feasible, especially if you hope to be lucid dreaming throughout. I suggest talking to a therapist. As far as egocide, don't. If you don't feel comfortable talking to a therapist, just know, we're all here to help you(though if this does spur a discussion, I suggest you start a thread). Stay safe.
