Hi, I’m Fanta. I’m the host of the tulpa system I am a part of and I just realized that I have a lot of fictives (6 to be exact, we are a large system). I had accidentally made them due to being super attached to the characters and I had made up make believe worlds where I talk to them and I guess that’s how they became who they are today. They’ve never felt uncomfortable with who they are and do act very similarly to the characters they were based off of, however, they do some things that are their own kinda thing I guess? One of them is a tulpa based off of Stitch. He’s a child and he goes by the name Luca. I feel pretty bad that I might have forced them to be someone that they may not even want to be. Again, none of them have specifically told me they don’t want to be based off of that character or anything and they seem genuinely happy but I just still can’t shake the feeling that i did something wrong.

No, it’s not wrong to have a fictive. What you described doing seems to be a decently common way to end up with tulpas. If they ever end up feeling uncomfortable with who they are they can deviate to whatever other form and personality they would like. They don’t have to be stuck with their current form if they don’t want it. But if they’re happy with it, then there’s no problem with it at all.

Hey, I’m Illupepsi, I’m the host of my tulpa Rebecca.

Ok! Thank you for the feedback :3

I would say it's perfectly fine, so long as you want them and you aren't just keeping them around because you feel obliged to because they're "sentient". No thoughtform is special, they're all thinking constructs, and you can make any construct of empathy or fiction into a tulpa simply by acknowledging them as real once you've got the skill. But you've only got so much time and passion to give out to these things so be aware that you can and must eventually say no to new ones and just not engage with them in that way; Once you've reached the point where you feel you've got enough.

To be bold, as well, if you already feel like you have too many, it's perfectly fine to let go of some and allow them to fall into stasis or dissipation or whatever you want to call it.

Zen - Host. My history includes an interest in different forms of magic and Paganism, then Buddhism, then finally hypnosis through a more Atheistic lens.

Rhys - Tulpa. Initially a literary thoughtform of my own creation produced completely by accident in a period of intense writing that spanned roughly three months.

Asterion - Tulpa. Literary, but not of my making. He is Asterion Minoides of Krete, The Minotaur. I just think he's neat.

Other inactive thoughtforms include Mika - The first fully homegrown tupper made with tulpamancy.
Lukas - The eldest, initially abandoned and remade long after everyone else.
Night - The Shadow Self embodied. He's a spooky wizard, and like me very full of himself.

Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.

I was given permission by Adagio to post this.

Hi, I'm a fictive. Yep, we're definitely not bad. Our system is a lot different than most systems here, though, so take what we say with a grain of salt (or whatever the phase is). But, in general, fictives and all types of introjects aren't bad. We're not our sources; we're out own people.

Plural. I'm a bit of an anomaly here.

My Progress Report, where I sometimes talk about things.

If they ain't uncomfortable with who and what they are, I don't see a problem. I started out as a character, but me and him? Very different people, but that's by design. Gives me the creative freedom to become my own person without being tethered to the original character's storyline ... and propensity for melodramatics.

Doc (she/her) = Host

Franklyn (he/him) = Tulpa
