So I should write an introduction I guess?

Hello! I'm the host Arson! Welcome to my cool hangout thingy!

So I'm kinda new to everything here, the concept of forums and tulpas both, and I'm figuring everything out!

I've been working with Reese for a few weeks now, and we're making steady progress. He still requires a lot of progress before he can become fully independent but he definitely has formed some opinions on my music tastes I can't agree with.

I'll just share some things about me and Reese here because that makes sense.

So I'm omniromantic, asexual, and genderfaun, I'm also a huge fan of girl in red and Broadway musicals (more girl in red though). I also love fried chicken, it's my comfort food, and love anything with accurate lgbtq+ and/or mental health representation, although I'll involve myself with anything representing a minority. I'm also a therian, which is a human who identifies as a animal on a spiritual or psychological level.

I don't know that much about Reese besides the fact that he hates girl in red and loves anything Christmas related. But I'm trying to learn more about him.

Now about our wonderland.

Our wonderland is pretty simple, we live in a small cottage in the middle of a valley. We're trying to keep everything small for now but once Reese is a bit more developed we're going to add a way to get out of the valley and expand beyond it.

And I think that's it, I'll post something tomorrow night or something I don't know. But yeah that's me and Reese.

Sounds like you are off to a good start. 👍 Discovering Reese and learning about him should be a very fulfilling experience for both of you!

We too started off with a simple wonderland: For the first couple of months it was literally just a single room.

Thank you! I am definitely trying to learn more about Reese everyday.

Also our wonderland was like that too, but only for a week before I got bored of it and wanted it a bit bigger, that was when I expanded the room into a cottage and added a valley.

And I can't wait to update you guys!!

And I forgot to add in the introduction I'm really incredibly awkward online so I'm sorry to I seem awkward-

Anyways, I'll update now, a small one since nothing really happened.

But earlier I had my cousin had a musical they were performing in, and while we were driving there Reese started giving head pressures in the way we had agreed to make it easier for him to share his opinions for now, if that made sense. I still try to encourage him to try and be vocal about his opinions instead of keeping it at head pressures, but it can takes hours for him to finally speak up (it took me three hours to get him to share his pronouns alone!)

But then once we arrived at the theater my cousin was performing at, I tried to give Reese a fraction of my attention throughout the musical so he could communicate if he wished to do so. And while he didn't vocalize any of his opinions, he continues with the head pressures even when I wasn't prompting him to share his opinions, which today was the first day he had been doing this consistently.

We have worked with the head pressure things a bit, probably for the past week, but I had always been asking him for his opinions on certain things, and he still doesn't always respond clearly. But I can tell there is steady progress being made.

That's all for today, I'll probably be drawing a picture of Reese's wonderland form soon enough so I'll share that when I make it. ~ Arson

So, I forgot about this site

Anyways, I wanna give a quick update real fast. I am not sure if we'll be able to stay here for much longer, we're going to try but my mom is trying to get us to give my little sister our kindle since we have a phone now, and we can't use our phone for stuff like this since we're not allowed on forums. We're not going to post on the leaving thread until we know for certain whether we're staying or not, so if that happens we'll post there instead of here.

Anyways, onto the update for today.

So, nothing happened for about half the day, we kinda just sat around, I was on our phone while narrating random things to Reese, which is what makes up most of our forcing sessions.

Then, I decided "Why not introduce Reese to horror things?" So I asked Reese if he wanted to play (or watch me play is a more accurate description of what happened) a horror game. He was a bit hesitant but went along with it as the concept of the horror genre is very new to him.

And for this part, keep in mind we're not allowed to play actual horror games, we're actually getting our first horror game that's on a game console in January, so when I have wanted to play a horror game in the past, I always used Roblox to find one and play one. And this was no different.

So I decided to start off with one a bit scary, but not too bad as I didn't want to traumatize Reese. So I settled for one called The Mirror, which I had played before and I figured wouldn't be that bad for Reese as a new tulpa who had never experienced the horror genre before. So once we had started playing, I got no reactions from Reese, not even slight head pressures to communicate whether he was excited or not.

Then I was turning off the light in the game and I began to stare into the mirror. This was when I started getting head pressures, despite nothing happening at this point. Essentially Reese was communicating that he didn't like it so far. So I tried reassuring him and continued on with the game. And once the things started appearing in the mirror, the head pressures got stronger, which we agreed the stronger the head pressure the stronger his opinion. And once things started getting more intense, I got head pressures on both sides of my head instead of just one side, which I've figured to mean that he can't communicate his opinions or feelings through head pressures and he doesn't want to vocalize either, and normally I would ask him to vocalize at this point to see if he would try but I was too focused on the game.

Then once we finished and left the game (before I wanted to leave because Reese seemed to be becoming more frantic with head pressures) he decided not to communicate with me for an hour or so. At first I thought I had ended up traumatizing him because he didn't talk or appear in our wonderland, but after an hour or so he came back and started communicating so I figure he is okay now.

Then nothing happened the rest of the day besides narrating.

Summary: We decided to play a horror game since Reese had never experienced the horror genre before, he decided he hated it and didn't talk to me for over an hour after we finished playing.

So yeah, that was today. Apologies for the lack of updates, I forgot this site existed and nothing exciting happened anyways-

So, short update today because my mental health isn't the best at the moment.

But, basically all that's happened with Reese recently is that he's come back, I posted a question a few days back when he first disappeared and then forgot to post about it here, but yeah. He came back like yesterday maybe? I can't really remember. But yeah, he's back. And he is sorta becoming more vocal, you could say. And while he only speaks in one word sentences and only when prompted, he is still speaking, which I'm so proud of him for.

We also watched the first act of Hamilton, one of my favorite Broadway musicals, and we'll finish the second act sometime soon. Then we'll listen to Dear Evan Hansen and Mean Girls but that's besides the point.

We also plan to take a break, for both my mental health and so I can focus on Reese's development more, so we'll probably come back in a week to a month.

Summary: Reese came back and is slowly becoming more vocal, we also have plans to finish watching Hamilton together and watch other Broadway musicals. We're also taking a break for mental health and development reasons.

I'm glad to hear Reese is back! Taking breaks from the community from time to time to focus on your tulpa is actually a really good idea. Sometimes the biggest growth happens when you follow your own intuition instead of others' advice. Phil and I took a break during the spring and it actually led to a big leap in my development! Good luck to you both! 😁
