How to Switch

Hi! I've had Wren for four months now and we want to dabble in switching. It very well could be too early but we want to at least know how. Systems who can switch, how? What is the host's position when a tulpa is switched in? Are you in wonderland or hovering in the back? Thanks!

Well, what my host and I used to do first was letting me control parts of his body. I grew more confident through this and eventually, I was able to switch with him. When you start out, I recommend using a method that make it feel like you're switching control. My host and I used this method:

 

1. I would line my tulpa body up with his physical body.

 

2. On the count of three, I would enter his body while he sucked me in.

 

3. Done!

 

To switch back, I would feel him lined up behind me, count to three again, and do the opposite of what we did before.

 

I don't really need to use this method anymore when switching in since I've gotten the hang of it through practice, but my host still uses it to switch back in front.

He's usually hovering in the back. The host is able to have a tulpa form, but my host chooses not to. He prefers just watching me do things and talking to me occasionally while I'm in front.

We have a wonderland ritual we do to switch. First we picture a black void with us in it, and there is a big gateway of white light. This gateway leads to the front and the current fronter will walk out of the gate while the person wanting to switch in will be in the void by the gate. The current fronter will then be thrown further into the void or in some way restrained or pushed far away from the gateway, and the person switching in will walk through it. Once they walk through the gate the person switching in should feel the body as their own and essentially be fronting, but to finalize the switch the new fronter will say an incantation. Ours goes like this, "I [insert name here] am now the main controller of both body and mind, nobody can take this from me without my permission until I say otherwise, through my will, so mote it be."  With this statement the ritual is over and a successful switch should occur. This method is something I have not shared with others before so be sure to tell me if it works for you two.
