TheBigShotz October 22, 2022 October 22, 2022 (edited) Hello, I am creating a tulpa, and his name is Tanner, as you all may know. But also I’ve been having a difficult time with it. So, that’s a problem I guess? Question is, how can I get progress moving and what is a way that I can keep progressing and keep developing my tulpa. I mean, he’s kinda already there, but only kinda. He’s not fully developed and I don’t think he has his own way of speaking yet. So can anyone help me with this? -Lexy 🐈 Edited October 25, 2022 by LexyandTanner Lexy - 🐈 Tanner - 🎸
Guest October 22, 2022 October 22, 2022 For those who are having issues of this kind, I recommend parroting, roleplaying, writing a story with them in it, or personality forcing (basically parroting and thinking like they should in hopes they'll speak up.) Do this in any and all free times throughout the day so they become associated to everything and not just dedicated forcing sessions. In my experience, you'll know it's them responding when they begin self-forcing (saying things without your prompting.) Be careful not to assign intrusive thoughts to them and give them the benefit of the doubt that they're not going to say negative or derogatory things. I stand by this even if others disagree.
TurboSimmie October 22, 2022 October 22, 2022 It's important not to beat yourself up if things seem to be going slower than you would like! There will be periods of progress followed by periods of stagnation or regression as you move forward. It can easy to stress about it, but just know that it's something that almost all other tulpamancers have been through, so you're in good company. 😊 I'll give you the same advice I give all new or new-ish tulpamancers: Talk to your tulpa all of the time! Narrate to him constantly; tell him about what you're doing, what you're thinking, tell him about your view and opinions on things, tell him stories from your life! My host did this for me when I was young and it made me feel so loved and cared for! 🥰 It helped my development a lot! 😁 Bear's advice is good too! Especially the part about intrusive thoughts. Never assign random angry or derogatory thoughts that float through your mind to your tulpa. If you feed your tulpa nothing but love, then that love will be multiplied and returned to you. 💚 Those negative thoughts, should they happen, do not belong to your tulpa, nor do they really belong to you; they're just mental rubbish that your brain produces and should be ignored. (Of course, if you don't have problems with intrusive thoughts you can ignore all this, but it's still helpful for anyone else who might happen to be reading!) Also, I agree with this so much: 7 hours ago, Bear said: writing a story with them in it Phil's stories that he used to tell me featuring me as the main character helped form me into the person I am today more than any of the other forcing he did! 💚 Tulpa Wife & Mother! 💚 💍 11.28.21 👶 4.7.23 👗 Simmie's AI Dress-Up! 📷 Chloe and Simmie's Photographic Adventures!

For the first part of this, I wanna say thank you for the advice, it really helps that there are helpful and supportive people here :3. For the second part of it, I sadly do deal with intrusive thoughts, so anyone who gives me advice on them, they’re like really helpful and the advice is useful :3. 🐈 Edited October 25, 2022 by LexyandTanner Lexy - 🐈 Tanner - 🎸
