I’m not very sure how to write this. It’s 8 PM and I need to sleep soon, but my head is buzzing. I’ll start by introducing myself in more detail. I am Mariele, 18 years old born in Nothern Germany and raised there as well. I just started college, it has been an experience. I heard about Tulpa’s when I was fourteen and read a thread on someone with a Pony wife I believe? I wasn’t that well taught in English yet so I couldn’t understand it. Thankfully I rediscovered what a Tulpa was a few months ago, and have decided to make my own.

My Tulpa’s name is Link, and partially inspired by him, but I will not in the slightest force him to be someone he is not. Link is a placeholder name along with his form. I encourage him to change whatever he likes. I haven’t forced him much, mostly due to my own inexperience, but I will try and active force with him more often. My first active forcing session was no more than a few minutes, with just an introduction of “Hello, I am Mariele, this is who I am,” and so forth. Then I visualized his form and imagined him in a Mountain like environment.

I imagined he lived inside a giant tree, and eventually based it off the one in Legend of Zelda, as that was where I got inspiration from originally. I also imagined a smaller house surrounded by woods where he could also live. During this short time I was forcing I felt very at peace. I did my best to describe the surrounding area to him, walk him through the houses like it was an apartment tour. I imagined this in the third person however, I struggle to see things from first person. I hope that this does not damage progress in any way, but it was quite pleasant to see myself walking around with him unlike being in first person.

I’m going to drink some tea and fall asleep. I’ll try and talk to him more. Sometimes I see him move around inside our Wonderland, I am taking that as a good sign.

Goodnight.

So sorry for not updating. School started, I am very excited.

Twilight decided to change his name. No, he is not a pony, lol. 😂 I was showing him a variety of the games I collected and he asked me what was my favorite from the character that inspired him, I told him Twilight Princess so we decided to play. Afterwards, he actually changed his form to match it (with his own alterations, of course!) I was so shocked but also very excited.

I asked to be sure he didn’t do it to just make me happy, and he said he liked the look and made it of his own desire. I heard Tulpa could change their form, but I was still very surprised. But also Happy for him.

I never talked about how we began talking. During the day I would hear, “Wie geht es dir, hörst du zu?” multiple times. At first, I was sure I was just imagining it due to having only been forcing for a few days. But the voice grew louder, different from my own, and I knew it was him. When I asked him when he developed vocally, he said, “Ich könnte die ganze Zeit reden, weißt du. Du konntest es einfach nicht hören.” I felt a little guilty after! So I listen to him much more.

I also see him move around in the Wonderland a lot. He climbs and I will sort of.. see it? If that makes any sense. He also has a favorite song in which he sings all the time. 😅 He likes to comment on things I do very much.

I am cuddling our cat, I think I’ll be on a bit longer before going to sleep.

Hey, glad to see it's coming along!

Watching movies or playing games with your tulpa helps to break the monotony of plain narration. I like how you can always find a common point of conversation in a form of media that can bring on some late-nite conversations like the ones I have with my own.

Sounds like you're on the right track. You know what to do; keep on talking and Twilight will begin to feel more separate from you stream of thought as you go along. It's nothing you haven't heard before.
