Red Armor Spider September 20, 2023 September 20, 2023 Tulpa is the closest thing to you, but it also has the power to judge objectively. I can't help them in person, but sometimes they give me ideas I can't think of alone.
An Ashy Individual July 21, 2025 July 21, 2025 my headmate regularly comes up with ideas that i wouldn't have thought of. the same applies for willpower or motivation - sometimes Emily doesn't want to be doing some chores at all, sometimes she is excited enough for me to literally not be able to sleep. so, yes, having a tulpa does make you more creative and sometimes increases your willpower. that said, the biggest benefit in terms of actually becoming a mentally stronger person was the motivation to try out messing with my own mind more: - if tulpas can parallel process with you, why can't a host parallel process with themselves? this genuinely works (and is useless) - if a tulpa can posses your body, why not un-posses it yourself to fall asleep faster? - if a tulpa can be quieter or louder, less or more present, can't that also be a thing you do to yourself? perhaps doing self-forcing even when fronting? the list goes on, and all of it was inspired by things Emily should be able to do and which having her be there inspired me to try.
