I'm new here myself, my name is Isabella but I prefer to be called Bella. I am a beginner with all of this Tulpa/Tulpamancy stuff, still exploring pros and cons, how to actually create a Tulpa, and stuff like that. Come with me and we can figure it out together!

Thanks a lot! I am just starting to focus on creating my Tulpa today, I'm still trying to figure out a new, age, background, and personality. I'm really not sure how to do this or what to do but I will continue to post updates on the topic. If you have any tips or recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out. (Also I struggle with visualization so if you have any tips for that, it would be greatly appreciated!)

So do Tulpas create themselves (appearance, personality, likes, dislike, ect.) or are they (loosely or heavily) based on an item or idea?

Just so you know, it's probably best to keep your picture and identity protected here because there have been incidents of trolling for what we do and often different groups try to claim we're ill or try to stop us from this because they don't understand it. Though some have shared their pictures without consequences too and it's pretty chill here nowadays, telling your friends/family irl about this is almost always a negative reaction because of the misguided negative connotations.

It can be almost anything but if you start with a form for them they will often deviate. That discovery is part of the fun and is sometimes worried about but it shouldn't be.

In case you need it putting directly: the suggestion to remove your photo wasn't really a suggestion. It was a polite request out of concern for your safety for you to edit your previous post and remove the photo from it. (The three dots on the right of your post should have an edit option.) Save your selfies for Instagram instead. This forum is not the place for them for the reasons Ashley stated. 💜

Hi Bella, nice to meet you! Making a tulpa is a lot of fun and the guides that are available are really quite in-depth. As Ashley said, it's good to start with a framework for voice, personality, and appearance (or at least that's what I did). Eventually once your tulpa gets more of a voice/personality then they will suggest moving some stuff around from your framework. As long as you're receptive and believe in them then it should all be quite fluid, just be open to change/believe in them and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

 

Everyone on here is nice too so feel free to reach out to anyone if you need help. If you want a place to catalogue your journey, then the Progress Reports section would be good to check out.

Thanks a lot! Nice to meet you too! I've been working on some visualization techniques but where I'm struggling is trying to focus on voice and I'm still working on an appearance but I'm trying to pace myself so I'll update when I can
