ier2679 June 18, 2024 June 18, 2024 I'm going to keep this progress report to start logging life as a new co-host. I've been around for around 8 years, but with the explosive amount of progress we've been making recently I felt like logging this was necessary to keep as much detail as possible. Right now the main focus is getting my former host Zenith to stay immersed in mindscape while switched out, a hard task with our ADHD. Any feedback is appreciated! Here's an unfinished write up on our story so far (it's long). Scout's Thesis V0.5.pdf
ier2679 June 18, 2024 Author June 18, 2024 First digital entry, here we go: Zenith has made notable progress being immersed in the Mindscape while switched out. Currently, the way we switch is that we get relaxed, and symbolically change the color of the blood and eyes to match whoever's color is theirs. Mine is red, and Zenith's is green. Her thoughts get much quieter, and she's still "associated" with the body. It's essentially full body possession. She's been trying to learn to dissociate; it would likely help out with immersion/switching a lot more. Two big reasons why we want to learn dissociation is to keep her from blending with myself and to have her experience the full extent of the Mindscape. As for myself, I'm getting used to being co-host. We all decided that myself, Max, and Zenith would be the "hosts" of the system, for lack of a better term. Also, for this month we decided it would be best for myself to take lead, the first time we've ever done something like this. This will hopefully get Zenith to let go easier. We also all plan on switching out at least once over the course of this summer, all 10 of us. I'll add more later on, there's honestly so much to add to this.
ier2679 July 11, 2024 Author July 11, 2024 Lots has changed since the start of this report. Zenith is becoming more accustomed to being out of body, and that's going smoothly. She took a break when visiting her family in Florida, and she came out to her brothers and sisters while down there. Most of them took it pretty well, with the exception of one brother who started rambling about nonsensical stuff a few minutes into her confession. Whatever, I'll just chalk it up to ignorance... he got himself locked up days later anyways. She explained that she kept this a secret for 7 years because she feared that she would have to cut them off if they didn't accept us. We've become open about our plurality, and her logic was that if they didn't accept us, they didn't accept her. We've become an all or nothing type of system. They didn't know her intentions if they rejected me, since I was the one she told family about first. I didn't want any potential hate to go towards any other members of the system. She mentioned other members, but it was a bit of a balancing act to make sure they didn't get overwhelmed with this. Her Florida side of the family are pretty religious (especially her stepmother), so she also feared they would demonize us. Fortunately, most of that was avoided with the exception of her stepmother, who immediately blamed me for her depression and accused me of feeding her suicidal thoughts. She was already on pretty thin ice before we came down, but that was the dumbbell that broke the camel's back for our relationship with her; she's done. I just have to write letters to every other member of Zenith's Floridians side and introduce / thank them for their open mind. Hopefully Jocelyn and Landon take it as well as they did, but they're too young to know for now. We just need to stay consistent and not back down WHEN the hate and disrespect comes.
