I began working on developing a tulpa approximately a year ago, by my estimation. I did read the guides here prior to my attempt but ultimately didn’t follow them very far. My initial concept for what I wanted my tulpa to act like/look like was dramatically different from what Lydia May looks and acts like, and she made that clear to me as soon as I started. We began talking within the first day or so.
 

Adding depth and detail to Lydia May has been more a process of her answering my questions than me describing her. That’s how it feels, at least. Before this week, we had not interacted in several months while I was distracted and busy. A few days ago, though, I found myself asking a vague, disembodied voice in my head if I could speak to Lydia May, and she was immediately there. I intend to work more on visualization and imposition in the weeks to follow. I will update here if I feel like any significant progress is made.
