half_aryan_slayer April 6 April 6 My tulpa prohibits me to listen to music even though I want to, I don’t want to make her angry though. but I think she wants the best for me, I’m more productive when I don’t listen to music. Does ur tulpa also restrict you?
bunnymustdie April 6 April 6 Only on issues I specifically asked them for help with, like reminding me to go to bed early and wake up early. Even then, it's not something that I would call restriction, which implies force, more like slightly naggy reminders when I really go off track.
Nightfall April 6 April 6 Well, Jezebel is the only one remotely close to that. She really wants us to do good in life, so she'll often times forcefully suggest something. I wouldn't say she forbid anything though (even if she wanted to). She's also aware that I need breaks and things to function and forcing me to do things doesn't always work out. I appreciate her, she really does try to make make our system the best it can be. She just gets rather annoyed when I don't follow her instructions. She's forgiving though and doesn't hold a grudge. Jezebel: it is much like what bunnymustdie said, I nag him. It is a little more on the unsolicited side of things though. Host: Nightfall (he, him) Tulpas: @Shaula, my other half 🦎 💍 (she, her) @Linda Supernova🐉 (she, her) Stephen 🦈 (he, him) Jezebel 🪄 (she, her) Shaula is always happy to chat on either account. /Art thread with my tulpas' forms./ My Art Accounts
Desu April 6 April 6 Arisu did complain a few times that loud music makes me lose focus, but never prohibited anything outright. I suggest you treat it like a normal disagreement. With someone as close and understanding as tulpa something so trivial should be easy to sort out. Alex (host) and Arisu (tulpa)

One day I took a lot of Methylphenidate Hydrochlorid and then at night voice 1 made me cut myself, even though i never cut myself. Yesterday I took Concerta 27 mg and it made that my imaginary friends/voices went completely away, at first they wear talking down on me and saying that I should kill myself and die cuz they hate when i take meds and then they vanished and then I could listen to music again
bunnymustdie April 7 April 7 (edited) The retired psychotherapist who runs the site I linked you a few days ago talked of similar types of phenomenon. Among his paranoid schizophrenic patients, meth (not exactly the same as what you mentioned, but similar) tend to exacerbate the abusive mental voices they get. Even people who previously have no voices, who took meth recreationally, may notice having such mental voices while they were under the influence of the substance. The voices fade away when they come off the effects of the drug, giving them the impression that it's a cool thing they have control over. Until one day the drug's effects fade, and yet the voices remain. Psychiatric type drugs appear to dull the voices' activity, make them quieter and less energetic somehow. His opinion is that the drugs are not enough to deal with the issue on their own, they are a stop gap, to be used to weaken the voices while other therapeutic methods are applied to address the root of the issues. Dependence on the psychiatric drugs is akin to trying to cover up a burning flame with thick pieces of paper - the flame eventually burn through, brighter than ever. Edited April 7 by bunnymustdie

Oh shit i forgot. the thing is that when i take normal doses of Methylphenidate, it makes the voices vanish! Which is weird since adhd meds raise the dopamine levels in your brain but for me it does just the opposite. I took 27 mg Concerta 34 hours ago and I still havent really talked to the voices, it makes them really vanish i fucking miss them. smth is different with me
