Bohdan's progress

Well, hello people, I'm new to this sight and to Tulpae. I discovered this sight probably five days ago and I loved the idea of having my own Tulpa. So after quite a bit of reading I began. I'm at day five at the moment, but first I'll tell you a little bit about Bohdan.

Bohdan means proud ruler in some language, I can't quite remember which. Hes so far in the form of a large male lion with gold eyes and a mostly black mane. I'm using the wonderland method thing.

At the moment hes just lying in a sphinx like position in a small room with silvery cream walls and green carpet. I don't want to move him because I don't want to puppet him out, so I'll just wait.

I've worked on his personality quite a bit, I want him to be quite proud, brave and loyal, but also have a kind side to him with traits of being kind, caring and protective, but just to make him fun and someone I would/do get along with I gave him a cheeky side with humor, curiosity and quite energetic.

I'll do I quick catch up on what I have done so far.

Day one: I didn't work on Bohdan that day, just on my wonderland, putting as much detail into it as I could.

Day two: I began to construct his personality, he was unnamed at this point. I started with just a glowing orb floating in the middle of this room (which has developed more since then) and speaking to it, telling him that he was proud and why he was and things that were effected by that ect.

Day three: The same thing as before, plus later that night I started on his appearance, first with a basic lion shape and colors, sort of like an animated lion done with bad graphics.

Day four: I worked on his personality, defined his appearance to what it is now, which is realistic and detailed, then I worked on things like his scent (which I think he has changed... Which is kind of weird, but he smelt different when I came back later, I'll say more in a minute), his movements and gestures because I've made him a bit fidgety. I also tried to work on sounds he would make, I'm not good at voices so I'll see if that develops, eg growling when he sees someone he doesn't like, like people that are horrible to me, roaring when he is angry and a low whimpering sound if he is hurt or sad.

Today: I've mainly just narrated to him, I've been narrating to him since I made him, I believe that he is sentient right from the beginning, I believe all Tulpa are. I narrate everything to him, I describe pictures, tell him about people, read stuff to him ect, I'm hoping it helps and I'm also quite a mentally active person so I just chatter on to him.

As I said above I think he has changed his scent, I made his smell from two main scents combined added with other smaller scents, but either I have chosen unconsciously to lean towards one of those main smells or he has changed it himself.

Sometimes I think I hear him talk back if I ask a simple question or make a weird statement, but I'm paranoid that its just me parroting and I don't know what to do about it or what to think, so if anyone knows anything that would help, please tell me.

Don't worry about parroting. If you're not consciously making him respond, then you're not parroting. When you think you hear your tulpa say something, it's best to just assume it's him, because it almost certainly is. :)

Oh, okay thanks, the only thing I'm absolutely sure hes said, was when I was having an emotional breakdown and I asked him in my head "Why am I alone?" and he replied "You're not alone." I was very touched by this haha, I haven't done much today apart from Narrating, but I'm headed on a long road trip tomorrow, followed by a long plane ride so I will have plenty of hours to really work hard on him.

I actually joked a bit in #tuppers about how you were probably making Nightstalker from DotA. Now I'm the wiser.

Well the long drive is over and I didn't get as much work done as I would like as my family kept teasing me about the fact I passed out after getting my belly button pierced. But I got enough done to get him to say something again, which was "Stupid." after I hit my head, perhaps he isn't turning out to be as kind and caring as I would like.

I'll probably get no more done today because I want to go to sleep early because I have to get up at three thirty in the morning to catch my plane, but oh well. Three and a half hours of doing nothing to fill up with focusing on Bohdan's progress tomorrow on the plane.

I spent about half an hour of this drive telling Bohdan about how plants mate, kinda weird but I had nothing else to narrate about.

Bohdan has discovered a new trick, if I don't acknowledge him for over half an hour I get a really bad headache and if, during these headaches, I talk to him, the headaches stop immediately, so I think its him calling for attention, the cheeky thing.

He seems to have quietened down a bit lately, most likely because I didn't spend as much time with him as I promised and I feel quite bad. I would do some tonight, but due to extreme tiredness and jet lag I don't think I would last five minutes before falling asleep.
