So, I've been working on my tulpa for about a week now; forcing about an hour a day and narrating for most of the rest, and I've also been asking her simple questions every now and then. However, when I do, and she answers, it's not like hearing any internal monologue or anything, it's more like reading a sentence (as in getting the entire answer at once, I'm a fast reader).

Is this the 'raw thoughts' I've heard of?

And when I do hear her voice (which I'm not entirely sure isn't me putting a voice to the the thoughts consciously), it sounds, strangely enough, almost like an EVP, if you know what I mean. It's all quiet and weak, though I can assume that's normal.

Also, it seems, at times, that I'm 'subconsciously parroting', in spite of the fact that I know it isn't possible. Like, it seems as though she's responding what I would want her to say, and sometimes, I even 'hear' several answers in succession. Is this normal as well?

Sorry for possibly noob questions, but I am quite confused.

My tulpa first communicated with me using pure thoughts after about a week, so you're good ^_^. With my tulpa I let her respond with thoughts while narrating to her as much as I could. Eventually she was able to say simple sentences in English and at that point I started pestering her to use words. Thoughts are very imprecise, at least compared to using a language, so I wouldn't go trying to ponder the meaning of life or anything that deep just yet.

I don't know what an EVP is, but with my tulpa she could get a word or two out before her voice would fade into pure thought. She's learn to speak strongly as time passes.

I didn't get worried about that subconscious parroting thing until my tulpa was much older, and the problem was that I was attributing her thoughts to me because they were quite similar, if that makes sense. Once I realized (or believed) those thoughts were actually from her the problem cleared up. Sorry if it's a little vague; my brain is very obscure this time of night. I think, though, those thoughts are actually from her. She may be wanting to please you, but I can't really make such an assumption without knowing her. It may very well be that she's responding how you would want her to because she using it as a way to express herself in lieu of language. I certainly don't think you're actually parroting, though. Parroting requires a conscious effort.

For the first question, it certainly sounds like raw thought. If you want to build your tulpa's language skills, then try rephrasing the ideas you get into language and telling it to your tulpa, then get then to repeat it.

Everything else sounds pretty normal. Voices often start off weak at first; keep at it and your tulpa will be able to speak more clearly soon enough. As for the 'subconscious parroting', it's a step on the road. Try not to be bothered by it and it'll go away. Hearing multiple answers is not uncommon either.
