Guest Del January 5, 2013 January 5, 2013 Oh boy, here we go. I am both incredibly excited and anxious, hoping I don't muck anything up and cause myself to spontaneously combust, or summon demons from another dimension. I'm going to be following FAQ_man's guide until I find it stops being effective, i'm going to be creating a wonderland once I get to the visualization stage. Advice and just general comments are appreciated. 1/2/13 So much reading, read every guide available, if this actually works it'll be life changing. 1/3/13 Did some more reading, read a few other articles about more specific subjects. Started and finished the 'greeting' step. I imagined five different traits, I attempted to visualize these traits at bubbles floating in front of me, each bubble was made of a different material, they had unique physical properties. The name of the trait was printed on the bubbles, the ink was white. I took these bubbles and combined them, forming a singular entity, afterwards I started to speak to my tulpa. Near the end of the session I visualized the basic form of my tulpa. My tulpa is a human male with white hair and gray eyes. He is about the same height as me (forgot my specific height, will rectify that at a later stage) and weighs around 153lbs. His skin is fair, the only two noticeable flaws is a small scar that appears to be a small line down the left side of his nose, the other scar is on his left eye, it starts on the top of his eyebrow and extends downwards to the higher portion of his cheek. His hair is somewhat ruffled and extends to the middle of his neck, his bangs hang loosely, nearly covering the upper half of his eyes. He is fairly athletic, his body fairly defined with muscle, but not enough to assume that he actively lifts. I visualized him in an animated style (original as fuck) but i'm unsure whether or not this will make it harder to correctly use imposition. Don't want to be biting myself in the ass I guess. This entire session took about 45 minutes. During visualization I was thinking of a name for my tulpa. At first I wanted to name him Red, but for some reason the tower of Babel popped into my head. I thought of it for a few seconds and repeated the name out loud. "Babel." I didn't like how it sounded, so I placed an 'e' after the 'a'. "Baebel." I said out loud. I liked how it sounded. I guess it's worth noting that near the end of visualization I started to hear some weird noises (was listening to tulpatone), it sounded like flowing water, then wheels rolling on concrete, then I started to hear what seemed to be horses neighing, kinda' really fucking creepy. Day 1 45m 1/4/13 Well, I have all of my traits down, they are as follows. Intelligent * Mistrustful Cold Blunt Stubborn Determined Loyal Reckless Impulsive Rational Selfish Practical Rebellious Bold Uncooperative Clever Observant Sly Independent Sarcastic Brave Ambitious Aloof Tolerant Confident Prideful Unsympathetic Disorganized Skeptical Aggressive Diligent Hesitant Mischievous Moody Noisy Ruthless Thorough Wild Violent Manipulative Opinionated Self-concious Tense The asterisk signifies that the trait is finished Alright, let me just say right off the bat that this was difficult, many times I found myself forgetting what to cover next, and wanting to go back and check the guide to see what else I was missing. Thinking of how the trait effects the tulpa's likes and dislikes, hobbies, morality scale, how it thinks of itself and how others think of them, it's all pretty overwhelming, not to mention there's probably dozens of more bases to cover. I'm unsure whether I did a good job, because when I was finished and looked back at the guide, I had missed one or two bases. Not that I was expecting this to be easy, quite the opposite. I imagined a path, a thick strip of purple-ish rock that formed an infinitely long path. On the west side of this path were bridges, each bridge had a sort of triangular guard railing. Each bridge represented a trait, each one had a different color, visual look to them, each felt different. I started walking on the bridge of intelligence, the ground bridge was hard and had a bumpy feeling to it, similar to cement, but much, much more crude. I ran my hand across the railing, it was cold. The bridge itself was a slightly light shade of blue, the actual form of the bridge seemed gas-like, like mist had taken the shape of the bridge. I started to talk to Baebel, telling him what intelligence meant and what impact it would have on him. My session kept getting interrupted, the first time my family called me out of my room, the second time my cat jumped on top of me and started annoying me. I accidentally feel a sleep around 8:00 PM, I woke up around three in the morning. For some reason I had a strong desire to start forcing, so I did. I finished the session. As far as I can tell my sessions add up to one hour. Day 2 1h 45m
Guest January 5, 2013 January 5, 2013 Seems pretty tough on you. You should've picked the easy and efficient route. Seeing as you're still only a couple of days in, I don't see any reason for you to not just join the light side while you're still viable.
waffles January 5, 2013 January 5, 2013 -Unrealistic style doesn't make imposition harder, really. -If you're struggling with personality, then remember that it's not necessary. You can cover each trait quickly, or not at all. The important thing is that you get a sense of who your tulpa's going to be, not that you spend a lot of time doing it. -Fede's guide is largely untested and untrusted; use it at your peril.
Guest Del January 7, 2013 January 7, 2013 Thank's Fede/waffle. I think I might mix a few parts of Fede's guide with FAQ_man's guide. Fede's idea to start imposition at the start. I won't follow the whole thing because, as waffle mentioned, has apparently been untested as of yet. 1/5/13 So today I decided to start narrating heavily and imagining the basic form of my tulpa always around me. Whenever i'm at my computer (which is all the time) I imagine Baebl sitting on the bed behind me, looking annoyed. I narrated a little yesterday, had a short 25 - 30 minute session, couldn't tell because I fell asleep somewhere in the session. Woke up the next morning with no memory of how I got into my bed. Day 3 2h 10m 1/6/13 I had three twenty minute sessions in the day, only taking about at ten minute break in between them. I managed to cover mistrustful, cold, and blunt. 'Mistrustful' looked like a conglomeration of many strings of red liquid, the bridge had the feel of paper, the sound it made when I walked on it didn't exist, there was no noise at all. 'Cold' was made of an icey material, the ice was transparent save for a light shade of cyan, which didn't block out much of the transparency, the railing was slippery and was cold like ice while the ground wasn't slippery and in fact gave good traction, it was also of normal temperature. 'Blunt' was a solid yellow bridge, it's railing seemed to ooze a sticky slime, the ground felt and looked like plastic. I went into moderate detail on each trait, I think I got a good feel for these traits and what they truly mean. I find that if I try to force for over 20 minutes I begin to doze in and out of deep relaxation/of sleep. I kept having shallow dreams and then snapping back to my senses, continuing to force. Overall the sessions felt good and calmed my mind. Later in the day I was about to go force some more, but I was talked into smoking some magic weed with a friend. Got blazed, came back, tried to force, close eyes, fucking rainbows everywhere, try to clear mind and force, so many fucking colors. Writing this while super blazed. Shit man the text is changing from white to orange, ffffuuuuuuuck. It feels like my brain is in my back and my head is empty, it feels like something is pushing out from inside my head. I think i'm gonna' go lay down and trip balls while narrating to Baebel before I pass out. Gonna' try to narrate most of the time in school thomorrow. Day 4 3h 10m
