Hey guys! This is my first post here on forums.

 

I've decided to start my progress report as a celebration of my first week since discovering the tulpa.info site.

I had originally wanted to start a tulpa blog and post my logs and info there, instead of posting on these forums (since I'm usually a lurker anyway), but making an entire blog just seemed like too much effort. Maybe I'll do that later though...

Oh, and, sorry in advance for the large walls of text; my thoughts are complex and sometimes it takes a lot of words to express everything!

 

Background:

I was first introduced to the concept of the "tulpa" from one of my roommates around November/December of last year, who found out about it through /x/ but never ended up actually making one. I found the concept intriguing, but maybe a bit dangerous. I've always been drawn to fantasy worlds and escapism, so I feared that doing any research on the subject would lead to me being sucked from the real world and never returning. (Of course, I later learned that all this was not true...)

 

And here I am now, posting a progress report on these forums. Long story short, a series of events led to me being reminded of the concept of the tulpa, and I finally succumbed to searching it up on Google.

 

But enough about me. I bet you guys came here to find out about my tulpa, right? So, without further ado:

 

Meet Qichie, or QQ for short!

Her name is pronounced "chi-chi," by the way.

I'd post a picture of her right now, but I think I'd rather do that in my next post, when I start my log.

 

Current progress:

Basic visualization and personality forcing completed; working on forcing a voice so I can actually hear her.

 

General physical characteristics:

- Species: Human; artificially constructed body

- Age: 19; born at age 13

- Sex: Hermaphrodite; leans more towards a traditionally female appearance

- Natural hair color: Light blonde; wavy hair; usually cut short

- Natural eye color: Blue

- Height: 168 cm / 5'5"

 

Personality:

I used the personality theory of socionics to assign a personality to Qichie. It is based off of Jung's theories, much like the MBTI, but goes on a deeper level in that it analyzes the motivations and thought patterns of an individual, as well as their relationships with people of other types. Since I have a deep understanding of how the theory works, I wanted Qichie to have a personality that complements mine perfectly, and with that, she would eventually be able to help me cover my weak spots and improve myself as a person.

 

She is planned to be the SLE, or ESTp type (which is similar to ESTP in MBTI). Characteristics of this type include dominance, leadership, confidence, logicality, boldness, and being successful in their endeavors. There are also some weaknesses that characterize this type, but I don't think Qichie would be thrilled if I listed them here!

 

She is innately a good person and is very open and friendly to others. She loves getting to know other people and organizing the atmosphere around her to suit the needs of the current situation. She is energetic, outgoing, and often can be seen with a smile on her face. She's also very open-minded and doesn't like to always take things seriously.

 

 

About my Wonderland:

My "wonderland" was created six or seven years ago, and spans an entire galaxy with eight planets, four of which can hold life. It is still constantly being shaped and developed to this day. This galaxy is home to many of my OCs, and Qichie started as one too! She was actually one of my least-developed OCs, having no concrete form or personality when before she graduated to the tulpa form. She did, however, have a background to her.

 

The wonderlands that I will choose as a setting for forcing will be taken as a part of some of the areas contained in this world.

 

 

 

I think I've written quite enough for one post, so I will start posting actual logs tomorrow. There should be seven entries when I do.
