Guest Anonymous December 29, 2013 December 29, 2013 Well, I still don't know what the general consensus on multiple tulpas is, but if I can be perfectly honest, I think having at least 2 when starting out is an excellent idea. They keep each other company if you are busy, and that bounces attention off of each other. At least that's what my tulpas have told me.
Draconilian December 29, 2013 Author December 29, 2013 I'm still pondering it since Sceathe, while "fully there" when I directly try to get his attention rarely says things unless I'm directly trying to talk to him. I want him to be more active in my day to day before I get to work on another. That and he seems to not want a friend up there... He's become rather possessive of me in fact 0.0 Tulpa Name: Sceathe Appearance: Grey scaled Dragon with multicolored feathers, chameleonic scales (though he prefers grey) Sentience: Yes
Guest Anonymous December 29, 2013 December 29, 2013 My first didn't like the idea of sharing me either, but now he's good friends with all of them. He's still my number one though, and I think that adds to his accepting the idea of another.
Draconilian February 15, 2014 Author February 15, 2014 Well, I was sort of away for a while. Things happened, my play by post roleplaying forum is back (YAY!) and I made a post about Tulpas there in the off topic section, getting a bit of attention, and met one guy who's apparently had some for years without knowing they were a thing. Quite fun all around then ^_^ I've been working hard on imposition since new years, two months in I can't see anything, but to my surprise, touch sensation IS there, and fairly strongly too. Now he's taken to trying to tackle me or otherwise interfere when I'm walking [You know you like it] But it makes falling asleep together more comfortable. I still don't know if Tulpas sleep or not, he says he kind of does, and I can usually tell when he is. But it isn't like normal sleep, still haven't ever had him break into a dream, though I have had dreams where I remember he's there. Which is kind of odd. Over the past week I've been out of school entirely due to weather, so I've tried to spend almost every waking hour with him, he speaks a lot more [Damn straight] and I feel like we're closer than ever, which is of course awesome. So uh, not much else to say. I'll try to post here more often though. Draconilian February 24, 2014 Author February 24, 2014 So, uh, things, that happened. Sceathe decided to switch genders last night, and is now Scatha. I don't really care, that's her right, last night she also switched her scales to white but is back to grey today. I'm not sure if it was inspired by the fact I read Eragon to her right before she switched or if it's been in the plans for a while now. She'll probably switch back and forth multiple times in the future. Fine by me. Also, tomorrow is her third month birthday, I'm still thinking of what to do for that. A week after that, is my birthday [i got something planned] And then a week after THAT, Dark Souls II comes out. And I've been excited for this game for a while (her original name was a modified version of a Dragon from Dark Souls,) For a while, I've been working on doing visual imposition, I'm still almost entirely lacking in success. Barring tactile and presence. But I can see a little bit in low light conditions.
