Thunder Flash July 10, 2012 July 10, 2012 Well, simple question again, the first vocal response, will it be audible? Like will you actually hear it? or will it be like some people have said, a thought in your head that isn't yours. For me, random thoughts pop in my head all the time so i don't know if I'd be able to tell if it was Kaliea or not. Guest Albatross_ July 10, 2012 July 10, 2012 Depends. Do you narrate out loud or in your head? Although in truth it will almost certainly be a thought in your head that you didn't think. You might not notice it.
Guest July 10, 2012 July 10, 2012 Anyone who says it's not audible is a parrot-lover entertaining a fake tulpa.
Thunder Flash July 10, 2012 Author July 10, 2012 I narrate out loud. So what would that change? Tulpa - Kaliea Form: Human female Sentience: Possibly Stage - Visualization: Done Narration: Continuing Touch: Almost Done Smell: Yet to begin Imposition: Yet to begin
Guest Albatross_ July 10, 2012 July 10, 2012 If you narrate out loud it helps them gain an audible voice -- as in, you hear it in your ears as an auditory hallucination. If you narrate in your head your tulpa will most likely develop a strong mental voice.
Guest applesauce99 July 10, 2012 July 10, 2012 I get thoughts out of nowhere in a female voice all the time when narrating, but they're usually what I am thinking at the moment. For example, I was at the mall in the parking structure killing time and I heard construction. I started to walk towards the noise to see what it was when I heard Miku say "What are they doing?". My tulpa's gonna kill me, but I think it was parroting.

If you narrate in your head your tulpa will most likely develop a strong mental voice. If you narrate in your head exclusively, does this prevent your tulpa from developing an audible voice, or just slow the process? I imagine the latter, but it's nice to be sure. The only time I narrate out loud is when I'm driving somewhere. Though I considered starting up a Let's Play in order to narrate to my tulpa. It'd be a good cover for talking about everything I'm doing out loud.
