Charlienaut March 29, 2015 March 29, 2015 ENTRY 1: 3/29/2015 I've been working on creating a tulpa on and off for nearly a year now, with slow results, but I've recently had a large leap in progress. I can visualize my tulpa fully now, and we're even beginning to have short communications with each other. My tulpa's name is Apple, and he's currently my icon. I'm not really sure what type of creature he is, but he always appears in greyscale, just like the rest of our Wonderland (which is basically just a giant forest). I'm trying to figure out if that has any type of significance. He's manifesting the beginning parts of a personality, slowly but surely. I know that he tends to preen when I do things like draw him, so that might be the beginnings of a bit of vanity? Apple also tends to be rather cryptic whenever he does choose to communicate- I'm still trying to decide if that's just because he's just started to "speak", or if he's simply like that. EDIT: I forgot to mention, sometimes Apple shapeshifts into a crow. Nothing special, just a plain black crow.
Charlienaut March 31, 2015 Author March 31, 2015 ENTRY 2: 3/30/2015 I've had some minor progress over the last few days, which is nice! Apple had become a near-constant presence in my head, especially when I'm not thinking on anything in particular, but isn't very obtrusive about it, which is nice. He's more of a... gentle reminder of himself, if that makes sense. Sometimes he'll give me random input, like when I'm drawing he'll say "Likes that." or "Erase!". Speaking of which, he's developing a very distinct voice now. His grammar is a little choppy, almost as if English weren't his first language. He hasn't developed enough of an accent for me to guess what might be/have been his first, though. I worry a lot, especially because we're in the beginning stages of talking, that I might be parroting; Yet at the same time, his thought processes are so vastly different from my own I think it might just be parrot-noia. (haha, get it?) Apple doesn't appreciate my puns, much to my (mock) disappointment. I've found that I have the easiest time concentrating on him when I'm tired, so I often Tulpamance right before and after sleeping. I generally use these times for visualization, because that's my least consistent skill. (I know what he looks like, but I have a hard time "seeing" him while doing other things, like speaking.) I explored a little more of my wonderland, and while it's still black and white, a new area appeared. It's pretty much an exact copy of my own bedroom, save for the fact that it's greyscale and clear of the usual clutter. I suppose it means Apple is fond of my room? I'm not sure, but it's a nice thought. At the very least, I like the familiarity of the concept. That's about all the progress I've made thus far! I'll tune in again when something happens. : )
