  1. Past hour
  2. Make sure to learn ctrl+shift+z (redo) immediately after ctrl+z Or rarely it's ctrl+y instead
  3. That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the advice! 😊 Can't get the same animation app though, our tablet is an Android. Cute! 😊
  4. Gartic phone animation mode is still gartic phone, you just see the previous image transparently and it says "continue this", no keyframes or anything Edited it with ezgif, this is what it would look like played in order Didn't go far right/down enough on the rightmost frame I guess, it was meant to be high energy back-and-forth not drawn out ... Anyways while I have been in executive dysfunction purgatory for 2+ years now, I'm a 3D modeler, not a 2D artist lol Whenever I draw it looks extremely childish because that's just my skill level, but I can do better in 3D Though I always feel like I can't share anything I make in Blender publicly for hypothetical future history-tracking reasons, kind of sucks
  5. awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! x3333333333 really excited waving, it makes me very happy. i'm glad you made that! hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting, i might have to see what animating in gartic phone alone is like. it does seem a bit complicated to figure out how to organize the process the frame you start and end on in a sequence are called key frames, and the frames inbetween are called inbetweens. in animation studios, i think they usually have specific artists who have the job of drawing keyframes, and then groups of people who will do the tweening at the same time. so that's how they are able to animate episodes so fast the waving gif i posted the other day also was a 3 frame loop. it was 15fps i think, and a lot of smears to try to make it look really fast, but i end up looking like i'm doing the club penguin dance lol, so me and flandre can dance together
  6. Turns out you can play alone This took me 45 minutes though so maybe not still, lol
  7. oh ok nice, yeah using a tablet can feel awkward but if you pump out enough drawings using the tablet despite the awkwardness, it will go away and feel normal. it will never feel like paper, even with a display tablet, but you can become just as accustomed to it as anything else i think it was a demonstration of some kind of body armor actually lol, but the meme was funny
  8. Today
  9. Noted, lol. Dang! Unless those were fake weapons, that might be one of the best inventions. We might need a little more knowledge than that in the muscle memory category but yeah, it doesn't seem too hard. We do have a tablet for that.
  10. As a game developer, Blender is the spawn of Satan ..okay I'm being extreme, but it's one of those software that my brain refuses to adapt to.
  11. they've finally invented nanomachines i'd say you don't really have to learn much to do it at a basic level. you don't really need to know more than how to select a brush and eraser to start. and ctrl+z lol i'd recommend a tablet, which the cheapest wacom one is like 40 dollars, but so many people seem to draw well with a mouse that it is surprising, so maybe you don't even need that, at least in the beginning. you do if you want pressure sensitivity to your strokes
  12. Maybe I will try over the summer after we learn how to digital art. Good note. 😁 Not sure we'll get into animation at that level but who knows.
  13. i hear blender is really good for 3d animation luminesce has made a few of those my host tried blender once, but it seemed to have a big learning curve, so they haven't made more than a mug. we wish we knew how to use it better to make mods for dbz games
  14. Blender is a good option, my human also uses it.
  15. hello pierrot you should the barrier of entry isn't as high as it seems. tb made their first animation with ms paint and windows movie maker when they were like 10 but now you can just download krita for free and it would be way easier that's funny to think about that tb might have completed an animation project complete with sound before ever finishing a serious drawing project (not counting doodling on paper in this case, vs a digital animation that is colored and with sound)
  16. Thanks for the reply
  17. Yessssssss! 🤩 Edit: I should learn to animate so I can make a hug gif for me too.
  18. There's a lot of resources on this forum, so not really a reason to repeat ourselves There are many guides, each with different biases/perspectives from an individual, so generally it's good to look through a bunch and find one that sounds like it'd work best for you. Basic pro and con - Pro is having someone you can talk to at any time when you'd otherwise be alone, and who will understand you better than anyone else can, though (and because) they are of course still working off your same brain, but people tend to be surprised how much more "person" their brain is capable of being than just how the host is. Only thing I'd say con-wise is tulpamancy tends to take consistent (however small) effort over time to become & stay fulfilling, if you forget for months at a time or move on then you probably won't get much out of it.
  19. Also what should i keep in mind before making a tulpa like the pros and cons
  20. rena hugs are so nice i should animate rena hugs
  21. Very much agree about hugs! 😊
  22. I don't headpat Cheryl because too cute But hugs are in order, and they are always the best
  23. carefully engineered tulpa oil extraction process
  24. Note made but patting will continue. 😊 Edit: (I like giving head pats.)
  25. Careful with all that patting, the tulpa oil might come out
