Eamon Valda December 6, 2012 December 6, 2012 Long time lurker, first time poster. Condensing the long story of "why" to "important examinations", I was only really forcing consistently for the two weeks (and researching tulpa for two weeks before that) before I had to stop completely for over a month (to be honest, that was awful foresight on my part). Now here I am, oodles of free time now available, and I still want to wield the awe-inspiring power of a tulpamancer; my question is essentially "How far back should I go?" I would not feel comfortable picking up exactly where I left off (more or less 10 hours of personality), but it would be a massive bugger to have to start from scratch, yet I get the feeling that I should. The only problem with that is that I feel less secure now than I did back when I started, and I do not know why. So where should I pick up from? Or should I go back to the drawing board? And any suggestions for overcoming this new intimidation which I seem to face? Professional Lurker
QB2 December 6, 2012 December 6, 2012 Just go back over anything you think might have been particularly important that you don't remember much about. Just a refresher. A "Previously, on Tulpaforce!" sort of thing. "Starting over" and seeing things as rigid steps to be followed in order are both really pointless things to do. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Eamon Valda December 6, 2012 Author December 6, 2012 "Starting over" and seeing things as rigid steps to be followed in order are both really pointless things to do. That is a fair point; no, two fair points. So, assuming flexibility (which should have been a given, I guess). I guess I could breeze over what I had done and try to re-establish a connection, seeing as I have had none whatsoever in that downtime; I could not afford the distraction. Failing that, I guess I would have to start over (to a degree). Well, you have got me thinking, at least. That much is invaluable. Thanks. Professional Lurker
SilverRevlis December 6, 2012 December 6, 2012 Just make sure to explain to them why you had to leave them. Being ignored is a horrific feeling from their viewpoint. Let's focus on the matter at hand, shall we?
