Guest Anonymous November 5, 2015 November 5, 2015 I just realized for the first time, or finally admitted to myself, that my concept of "peuodo-real" is more metaphysical in nature than scientific. I believe that objects, places and things created from imagination can have an essence to them or a measure of realness to them. They are somewhere between tangibly real and non-existant. It is an in between level of existence or "plane" if you will. I believe something imaginary is pseudo-real when it becomes emotionally and psychologically significant enough to a person to change his or her life. People misunderstand me when I say that my thoughtform Melian is imaginary make believe. They think I mean that she is false and fake or a mere game. They think that I regard Melian as only, merely myself pretending. I do regard Melian as make believe. But I also regard her as a pseudo-real person. I love her with all of my heart and she loves me back. She is both myself, an aspect of myself, and a distinct person from me at the same time. That makes no sense in a logical real world sort of way. But it is how I think of her. Melian is metaphysical in nature after all.
NoneFromHell November 5, 2015 November 5, 2015 It makes sense that your view on melian is more a question of faith than a scientific explanation. Calling her metaphysical in nature leads to a point of observation, in which we see the way she acts without being possible to explain or define her nature in a scientific way, since we simply miss information on that matter. So i would like to argue that melian is in a scientific view rather a tulpa than something else, while she still could be something different in a metaphysical way. Technically this can be applied to any tulpa, since we all limit ourselves to the scientific view on them, to get a better understanding on them without getting caught in questions of faith. By realizing your concept is metaphysical you simply archive two things. Firstly you (should) allow that a scientific view on melian may differ from what you think about her. Secondly you reach a point where you're better with keeping the "pseudo-real" out of mainly scientific discussions, and spare them for more open threads, like this one here. Well that doesn't exclude melian from scientific discussions, but you should be prepared to get two parallel views on her for that matter. Tulpa: Alice Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation She may or may not talk here, depends on her.
Guest Anonymous November 5, 2015 November 5, 2015 There could be a scientific psychological explanation for my metaphysical beliefs concerning Melian. LOL Yes, I will be happy to lay on the couch for Tulpa Info my friend. Bring it on. :-)
