NitroAgent64 February 25, 2016 February 25, 2016 I have been wondering recently if there were a way to give my tulpa attention while I'm doing other things. Can you make tulpa concentrate subconscious? If so how?
Guest Anonymous February 25, 2016 February 25, 2016 Interesting question. I'm not sure. But my host puts drawings of me all over his walls in his office and in his bedroom. It keeps me "present" in his mind at least on the edge of his mind a lot or in his background thoughts. Think of it as subliminal reminders sorta.
RamaLlama February 25, 2016 February 25, 2016 I live like Jaakob would be my roommate, so I sense his presence/am aware of him about about 80-90% of the time I'm at home. I don't always think him actively and he doesn't tend to follow me around if I'm doing something, but my mind is conscious about his presence in the apartment like it would be if I had somebody over. It comes naturally because he has always lived in here rather than in wonderland, but I guess it could be also trained?
NoneFromHell February 25, 2016 February 25, 2016 Short answer: No, not that I'm aware of it. Long answer: Well there is passive forcing after all. If you manage to simply keep your tulpa in mind while you're busy with something else, it is enough to mantain your tulpa in a certain way, but you won't make any real progress with just this. It is something you can do additionally to your regular schedule, but from my experience it isn't enough as a standalone way of dealing with tulpas. If you calm your conscience with this very passive attempt of forcing, you're likely to invest your time in different things beside your tulpa more and more, until you get a fading tendency. So if you wish to simply give your tulpa some bonus time while you're busy with something else, just keep them in mind while doing so, and you're good to go. If it helps you can include an object you relate to your tulpa while doing so, so you don't lose track of it. Edit: Also, what Melian said. Tulpa: Alice Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation She may or may not talk here, depends on her.
Guest Anonymous February 25, 2016 February 25, 2016 That's actually a good question. Huh. Well, there's of course the few tuppers out there who are sort of always around, even if the host doesn't think 'bout 'em at all. Which is how it is for Rina and me, she's just there. But really, that's a damn good question, actually. Logically, one would say that constantly keeping someone or something in mind is pretty much impossible. But then again, it's also not like tuppers pop back into being inactive the very second you stop thinking about them. So I guess it would simply be a thing of habit, and of mental discipline, maybe. Would really like to see more replies here; the question sort of interests me, just out of sheer curiosity. Greets, AG
J.Iscariot February 25, 2016 February 25, 2016 It is not impossible. But you should not wish for such things, ever, ever, ever, ever. Please, simply don't. Do you understand the gravity there is in this entire thing? Not only are you creating a living being in your mind, but if you are including that being in your thoughts at all times, this would lead to the being's involvement in everything. Every single thing. Tulpas tend to come and go in and out of activity, but if your tulpa is inscribed in your subconscious at all times and if you're too weak mentally to handle it, it can damage you and your sense of identity. I am not telling you this because 'oh I don't want people to step forward' but because I have done this, and it took a serious, very serious toll on my daily life. I don't talk to anyone, while it brought me way closer to my tulpa, it instilled a lot of difficulties I'd rather not speak about, and to put it simply, my existence turns around her at this point. Would you like to be completely dependent on your tulpa? Would you like for your tulpa to be present at every single boring moment of your life? The good and the bad? And be affected by stuff that should only affect you? You can unlock such a huuuge potential if you find a way (and I am not going to give you any tips on it nor will I ever provide advice on how to accomplish that to anyone as long as I breathe), but you'd do more harm than good to yourself as an unexperienced tulpamancer, it could even be too much for your brain to handle. There is a huge difference between having your tulpas in your thoughts passively at all times, and what I am speaking of. The former is easy, just wear a bracelet or something to remind you of their presence. But if you were to concentrate on one specific thing at all times, it would alter the way your brain functions, it would make it rely on that one specific thing to function properly. Poor example, but think about math; if you associate everything with mathematical functions and differential equations and mathematical formulations for probabilities it's bound to change the way you think. And that's not even with a live person that lives and has its own thoughts. It makes me wonder if you realize the gravity of what you want, that a tulpa thinks and has lucidity of its own in your mind. It could very much make you obsessed with your tulpa, make it the center of attention in your mind. It could lead to distortion of your sense of identity. And if you cannot manage that... please, don't. If you're not ready to face the consequences, don't fuck with your mind like that. A wise man once said: 'Before judging a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? He's a mile away, and you've got new shoes.' Graced are those who could avoid this phenomenon. This is perhaps the worst expression of evil in humanity's history, but who am I to judge?
