Has anyone ever tried forcing their tulpae a digital camera? For instance, one that if they took a picture of something the picture would be displayed on the screen? Like a open book your looking at from the side and cannot read the words, and they take a picture of it from over it where you can read the words, I'm curious on what would be on the screen

[My apologies if this is in the wrong area]

It could work. Infact, I had this on my mind for a while, actually. If they go photographing by themselves, it could get wierd results. Especially in areas you have never been or in places you haven't visited in years.

The words on the picture wouldn't be legible. Or at least, they wouldn't be accurate, not if you hadn't read the book before.

“There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings.”

If I'm not mistaken you would only see what you expect to see. If any gaps in audio or visual information exist, then your brain will just fill them in with information that makes sense.

For instance: if you see a blue vase and the top half of it is blurry and red, then your brain will hijack what you see and trick you into seeing some random assortment of red flowers perhaps, because seeing flowers in a vase makes sense.

I can definitely see something similar to this appearing. Or maybe just the body of some other text you've already read and subconsciously remember?

Interesting idea...I know that Irish took a picture of him and Alice and Alice shows up in the printed photo. It'd be interesting to see what happened if the tulpa was the one with the camera.

My guess is the same as hakase; you would see what your mind expects to be there.
