Please take all this with a grain of salt. These are just my opinions and I could be completely wrong.

 

People in this community tend to be more flexible (emotionally, spiritually, intellectually) than many people outside the community.

That flexibility allows them to circumvent the illusion of separation, which (I believe) is the underlying framework for our reality (ex: you/me, real/imaginary, dark/light).

We see opposites and we find a way to combine them- your desire to create a perfect imposition is a great example of that (real+imaginary=imposition).

The problem is that the more you work to remove that separation... the more unstable your reality can become (which often manifests as mental illnesses).

All illusions CAN be bypassed, but not all illusions SHOULD be bypassed. The more illusions you remove, the less separate you become from "The Source" (or God, or whatever you want to call it).

If you become too close to that energy it'll straight up absorb you and you won't be able to come back the same way.

We experience this spiritually as "ego-death" and physically as regular old death.

 

I experimented with a couple different kinds of psychedelic drugs and had experiences where my imposition was so perfect it felt more real than the actual world around me. HOWEVER, the last experience I had... I almost lost my mind. It took me months to fully recover and I realized I had to stop. I haven't used drugs since then.

It sounds like you've had a similar experience to that and that's why I felt like sharing.
