Kyl3m August 2, 2012 Author August 2, 2012 Okay. So the second session lasted 50 minutes. I think it went a lot better than the first one. I think I've better grasped the general idea of there not being a cut and dry way to do things when it comes to tulpa. This time I decided that it could be beneficial to create a wonderland to build and explain with Luna and possibly help with the creation process. The way I imagine it is one big squad peninsula type deal with sharp 90* drops on all side. In the center is a garden with a grass plot in the middle where I plan on doing the majority of the forcings. The garden is all purple flowers, primarily because it's my favorite color and I also thought Luna might enjoy them. Extending "north" is out one level house with a flat roof with a guardrail around it which is gotten up to from a spiral staircase in the middle of the first room. I also put two basic bedrooms in, allowing for Luna to create it as we go along. The living room has a tv, couch, and two chairs. The tv I decided would play only my favorite shows/movies. To the south is a mountain range with n observatory on top. To the east is a fledgling market. Primarily built so she would have a place to find good without having to wait around for me. Finally, to the west is a large lage with a huge mountain in the center with a zip line to the other mountain range At about this point I felt a lot of my doubts returning when I finished. I struggled to focus. So I just recalled all of my doubts and explained to Luna why I had them. I imagined the black mist floating in the jar. I think rattled it about and through it over the house and into the void. Similar to how someone else symbolically did and I felt a positive response. Onto the actual forcing. I tried the idea wherein you focus I on a trait and take all te emotions, feelings, thoughts associated with it and place it into a jar. I imagined it like floating dust. I would in turn release the jar and imagine it circling around her currently lavender "cloud" form and finally see it absorb. A few times I felt emotional responses, perhaps it would be the alien feelings so many people talk about but I can't say. It was a warm, tingling feeling, similar to when you get a backrub and the like. I also thought of her flying. I repeated the same idea with the jar and filled it with every thing I knew about flying, the emotions, and the awesom times she could have flying. Finally, I imagined Luna. Everything i know about her so far and imagined her "cloud" fork entering my mind. To alert my brain that there is, in fact, another being in my noggin and I believe it helped. That's about it. More tomorrow!
Avalanche August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 That's all good, whatever helps you to focus. Just don't get too caught up with the symbolic jar and cloud stuff. It may help you concentrate and focus, but really it does nothing much else to help the tulpa. What I'm saying is don't spend half an hour on a ceremony to get rid of doubts, when all you need to do is throw a jar away and say that's that. Otherwise good, keep it up. frt
Kyl3m August 2, 2012 Author August 2, 2012 Okay so after work today I did another session. Also after reading around the forums someone had said that it's best to just narrate as much as possible and that's what I've been doing since. Onto the session. I went back into my wonderland and made some minor additions to the house (I forgot windows derp) and also changed the tv. Originally it was a flat screen but every time I try l imagine it, it changed into an analog tv, the kid with the bunny ears so I left t as is. I also created a workshop of sorts. Really just a room with a comfy chair looking at a stage so I can better imagine her form without needing to concentrate elsewhere. I worked minorly on her form. Just to get like a generally body heigh shape but I'm really no good at it. I couldn't keep any form of size but eventually I was able to focus for a bit. After a bit I just went back to the center of my wonderland and finished her there. For a moment my concentration was broken and when I came back her originally deep red hair had changed to purple. I don't know if it had to do with the massive amount f purple in the wonderland or it was me changing it without thinking. After that I focused more on personality. I recapped on the traits I had already started I fleshed them out a bit more. I also added one more trait, chatty, although I'm not sure if t's exacty a trait but I guess it really doesn't matter. I narrated to her about the trait and different situations it would relate to. At this point I attempted to merge her starter form which was just a magenta orb cloud into her new body form I had imagined. Not much happened since it had to be a short session, only 30 minutes, but it's progress.
Avalanche August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 Sounds good. The purple hair is probably her deviating to match your favourite colour. This is most likely her changing to impress you, which is a good sign. Any change she makes you should keep and not try to revert, even if you don't like it. If you don't like it, say it, and it might change again. frt
