Guest fordaplot June 22, 2017 Share June 22, 2017 I was able to have a quick chat with Stanford Psychology and Anthropology Professor Tanya Luhrmann and get her thoughts on how I improved my anxiety by creating a tulpa as an anxiety guardian. Turns out that my experience is related to an already established psychological phenomena: symbolic healing. Tulpas may even be the mechanism mental health researchers have been looking for that causes one to fully believe in the symbol!
